More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.

Pours a medium clear amber with small white head. /good lacing throughout. Aroma is not strong, but good. Taste is well balanced - tart, sour, dry, fruitful with just enough malt presence to balance it all out

Way too bitter. While it claims to be a big, flavorful, bitter beer, its excessive bitterness ran over any other flavors in the beer. For my palate, this wasn’t very enjoyable.

355ml (12 oz) bottle. Clear amber ale with white head. Hops and sour, perhaps citrus in the aroma. Sweet citrus taste with medium bitter ending. Refreshing IPA.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Slightly cloudy amber brew with off white head and good lacing. Aroma dominated by citrusey hops but with a solid malt backdrop. Taste is a lively mix of citrusy hops and nice maltiness. Great.

Sticky, meringue-like head--you can swipe your finger through it and it leaves the indentation mark. Good fresh smell, although not very pronounced--have to search for it. Big malt body gives way to alcohol flavor in the finish. Thicker mouthfeel, not too dry. Tastes more bitter than its IBUs would indicate.

Bottle: Great balance of citrus and hops. Not overpoweringly hoppy. Refreshing, hides the alchohol well with citrus. Very appealing color. Overall, not a unique IPA, but pretty darn good after any strenuous activity.

Bottle. Light clear pumpkin colored pour with a nutty and hoppy nose. Nice strong malt backbone, bitter grapefruiit and woody hops. All around solid IPA.

Cask version @ In De Wildeman. Orange colored, hazy. Resin, resin and resin aroma’s, later with citrus/grapefruit. Flavor is malty & quite bitter. Long and pleasant bitter finish. Imo the cask version brings out the aroma’s & flavors better than the regular keg version. Great IPA.

Very nice too, the problem is that I get a lot of bad feelings in the stomach after too much U.S. hops.
