2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Mildly hoppy with a decent aroma, but much boozier and harsh than the original recipe. Drinkable, but not something I’d get again.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2010 I’ve been on a streak of buying IPA’s and am considering going in another direction but ales I have not tried keep popping up in local establishments. This one did not disappoint. Very nice flavor and mouthfeel.

12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Golden with lasting flat head and lace. Grapefruity pine aroma. Mild clover honey peach with complex arrangement of perfumy citrus and pine hops in dry bitter finish. Medium body. A rare fresh craft beer from a Long Island Budverage garage. Very good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark golden colour. Very citrusy and bitter hop on the nose. Flavour is all American hops: piny, citrus, bitter and resinous. The finish is slightly sweet and a little dissapointing (possibly a dodgy bottle/batch).
