3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The aroma is woody hops, oily pine sap. Malts are a spicy rye-like malt, and treated wood and sawdust.
The appearance is golden yellow in color. Nice, big slushy head. Clear with lots of carbonation. Very healthy lacing.
The flavor is spicy malts, like oak, and the woody hops double-down. Not a ton of balance but enough woody hops to keep my interest.
The palate is creamy with a slick finish. A solid, standard IPA. Nothing that compelling, but drinkable as hell. A pretty good beer; a solid choice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The aroma is very faint on this one, though what little does come through is fruit and hops. I had to take several attempts at this to get anything from my glass. It is a clean-looking, golden brown ale. The head is light amber and frothy and takes a bit to settle down. The flavor is this brew’s high point. It is malty, hoppy and laced with citrus fruit. The bitterness on the palate is mild and pleasant, not taking anything away from enjoyment. This one is well worth trying, though there are IPA’s similar in quality for less dough.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
355mL bottle. Pours clear gold with a small off-white head that settles to a ring and leaves some thin lacing. Citrusy and fruity hops backed by caramel and honey. Low-medium sweetness, some malt and biscuit, medium bitterness. Medium bodied and a little oily, average carbonation, a bit creamy with a lingering bitter finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not sure i caught this at its finest being from the bottle and all. Golden amber with some chill haze. Not a huge nose, more caramel with a hint of burnt toffee than anything else. Suspicion of resiny hops and you can imagine what it might have been fresh. More malty than hoppy, with a bit of bitterness. Will need to try again fresher.

Lots of grapefruit and citrus hop aroma. Caramel in the malt. Nice foamy head with good lacing. Nice bitter flavor with good citrus hop notes. At 7.1% this is a very appealing IPA.

I have just made an all around opinion of IPA’s. i hate them all. This may be a good beer for others but really the only thing I liked about this beer was the aroma and appearance. That’s it
