[bottle from bierzwerg.de] Hoppy apple juice aroma with some spicy melanoidins and apricot notes. Almost clear orange-amber under a lacy, thin, white sheet. Blast of hops flavour up front that is only a touch salty and eventually yields to caramel malt. For all the hops flavour, the bitterness is actually medium and allows the malt character to come through. The hops are a blend of orange, lemon peel, and bitter grapefruit. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, late bitter finish.

Appearance: Pours out a clear, orange-hued body with a faintly beige-colored, frothy head. Smell: Simple, bland pale maltiness paired with hoppy notes of pine, spruce, and fruity citrus. Taste: Slightly grainy pale malts with a nominal amount of sweetness. The prominent hops provide for some light citrus and spicy spruce accents. Moderate bitterness. Hint of chewable aspirin. Dry, bitter finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. A tad oily. Drinkability: Not altogether pleasant, so not so much, really.

Fairly enjoyable IPA. Herbal, fresh hops and toffee malt flavors. Some metallic notes as well but doesn’t distract. Pretty solid.

It is very good, but you can not call it a monster. It’s clean low on complexity, that is not bad. I’ll drink it again, anytime!!

Pours reddish amber.Thick white head with nice lacing. Aroma is a good sweet malt fronted by a very nice floral, pine and citrus hops. Taste is crystal malt hidden by strong floral and pine bitterness. lightly sour, finish. A good beer

Bottle->tulip: Pours a medium, rocky, white, head atop a clear amber body. Good showing of carbonation. Light aroma floral hops. Taste is medium, long on the palate, lightly sweet, and moderately bitter, finishing somewhat astringently.

355mL courtesy of TJ at the brewery. Pours a clear light amber with a small head that has okay lace. Aroma is light hops, crystal malt, and then some corny/grainy notes take over. Taste is very bitter with burnt toast losing the hop character. Finishes very bitter. Meh.

Bottle - Reminds me alot of Founders Centennial IPA. Pours reddish amber with a 1 finger head. Nose is fantastic, strong pine, taste is incredible. Malty, bitter and finishes nice and hoppy, strong pine that lasts. What an IPA - hands down best in the Mix Pack.

Huge piney hop nose. Pours a pale golden color with a thick white head that dissipates. Piney hops with traces of caramel malts, sticky feeling, resinous, grassy hops, definitely hop forward. Not a bad IPA a little catty but still enjoyable.
