Pours amber into a shaker. Off-white head with medium retention. Pine and resin aromas. Flat to smooth with a sour bitterness. Lasting pine finish.

Bottle from BevMo. Coppery color with an ok white head. Interesting aroma of non-resiny hop. More like fruit and flowers. Mmm! This is like a nifty English ESB. Floral and fruit over lightly roasted malt. Except there’s a lot more hop than is commonly encountered over the pond. But this hop is not bitter, and it’s not astringent. It must be really fresh. Code is 339FX08. It’s not PtE, but it suggests it. The finish is almost lush with hop.

A Mes rate: bottle at Twickenham beer festival.
An attractive amber coloured beer with an impressive and stable off white head. Plenty of life in it too. Really well bottled. Massive orangey hop aroma with some slight sweet perfumey notes too. Something about this is reminding me of the smell of a good woman and there is no doubting I like that. Really good malted biscuit base holds everything up effortlessly. The flavour follows on in a similar vein but is let down just a tad by a faint hint of ethanol. Good level of chewy in the mouthfeel. Decent stuff and certainly better than the earlier version.

Wow...really happy about this one. Poured a burnt amber/orange. Nice bitterness up front and finishes smooth. Floral, yeasty snd well ballanced. Good tasting brew.

12 oz bottle. Clear orange pour with a quick head. good bitterness for a domestic IPA, stays through the bottle and gets better to the end. Lacks a bit of the flavor from hops and overcompensates with the dried fruits.

Can’t see this much different than the old style. Sweet hop aroma. A little oranger than iced tea. Bitter experience. Lingering bitter experience. Seems fairly high in alky from the taste. Like chewing on small green sappy pinecones. What else can be said but; on style!

Bottle. Clear apple juice body, off-white head, medium sized bubbles, diminishes quickly. Body is sharp, abrasive, oily, kind of in a ’’pointy’’ way - meaning it strikes the palate, the tongue, the throat, takes a quick bite. Resinous pine and old, dried fruit show the hop qualities. Not particularly well rounded, the body is especially harsh, and the hops are someone tinny at times while still showing some small amount of freshness... err... I’m saying hops but this smells and tastes like hop oil extract.

Draught. OK at best. For being an IPA, I was a little dissapointed in the lack of hop flavor. Decent beer if you want to drink a better than average beer in quantity. Nothing to savor.

12 oz bottles poured into glasses. Hop aroma of flowers and herbs. The yeast smells slightly cheesy and like a barnyard/horse blanket. Initial flavor sweet and malty, then the hops kick in. It finishes with a roasted and orange taste with an alcohol pang.

Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a nice deep amber color. Aromas of hops/hops/citrus. Strong hop flavors with malts.
