3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce bottle from Total Wine in Jacksonville, Florida. Late 2008 version. The beer pours a rich amber color with a lightly foamy white head. Aroma is hops, citrus and a bit of grass. Taste is very earthy with pine bitterness and some hops with a bitter finish. The taste is a bit weird, but it is a good beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Body is a very transparent and thin-looking amber with a little better than a finger of head. Aromas are weak, especially for something advertising itself as an IPA. A little bit of caramel and a little bit of earthy and citrusy hops. Hops come out much more fully in the flavor, but it is still a fairly malt-driven beer. Finish has a nice crisp citrus & pine bitterness.

Bottle 0,355l. Golden brown colored. An OK creamy head. Strong hoppy and fruity aroma - reminding of chewing gum. Flavor in the same direction. Some dry bitterness in a long finish. KI=6

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
IF you have ever read one of my ratings, I call them like I see um. This is over the top with a super bright hoppy character. WOW, it packs a punch and lingers forever. Calling all hopheads, if you haven’t tried this than you can’t call yourself a hophead!!!!
If you want a beer that spanks you as you set it down, jump in and enjoy the afterglow!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled at the Flying Dog tasting at Blacklick Wine and Spirits on 2.12.09. Pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. Crisp citrus hop aroma. Flavor is also very crisp and citrusy, which surprises me after seeing the hop combination they used. Nice malt balance and a bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a golden amber with an off white head. Nose is sweet malt with a hint of hops. Flavors are very sweet fruit, sweet malt tones, and slight grapefruit hop taste, a good amount of orange flavors later. Mouth is medium bodied with a decent bitter finish. I guess the "Colorado-IPA" is maltier then the more typical California style. Still a decent beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hop aroma is a little weak, but it is still there. Not extremely pungent, but enough to catch the aroma. Decent hop aroma. Fairly claer and golden brown in appearance. Thin head sitting on top. Decent bitter hop flavor. Somewhat smooth. Nice bittering hop at the end to finish the beer off. The hops are definitely present in the taste, but not in the aroma. Overall, a nice IPA. Nice looking a little weak with the aroma, and hoppy with the taste.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 7, 2009 Bottle from Beer Factory Athens. Amber colored with a nice off-white head. Aroma very fruity with hints of grass and lots of hops. Sweet malty taste with lots of hops that leads to a nice dry bitter finish. Nice but not something spectacular.

Tap @ Mcmenamin’s - orangish clear coppery color thin white head. Mild aroma lightly hoppy. Mild flavor very dry and almost gritty mouthfeel. Nothing wrong but nothing remarkable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
This IPA was surprisingly mild for someone who doesn’t enjoy the overwhelming taste of hops from most IPA’s. It had a lot of flavor but was still pretty smooth.
