More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. 12oz bottle-pours a dissipating foamy off white head and gold color. Aroma is lemon/grapefruit/citrus and pine hops (cascade+), some medium malt. Taste is sweet lemon/grapefruit/citrus and pine hops with some bite, secondary medium malt. OK/mild carbonation. Thanks decaturstevo for picking this out.

Bottle. Straightforward IPA with little about it to make it memorable. Frothy head that lasts. The body is amber and clear. Aroma of grapefruit, resin, grain and cookie. The flavor is a little less than moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Both the sweetness and bitterness carry through into the finish, though even in the end it is a little more sweet than bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation.

Copper orang with off white head and lace. Citrus/evergreen hops presence on the nose. Large maltiness followed by a solid hops bitter. A tad foamy on a medium/full bodied beer. Pretty damn nice drinker.

Pours a translucent copper gold with a two finger frothy white head. The aroma is citrusy, hoppy, sweet, some piney floral hops. The flavor is hoppy, fresh, citrusy, some alcohol, sweet, nice flavor, not as much bitterness. The palate is easy, needs more to it, mild bitterness.

(On tap) Clear amber golden with a small off-white head. Lightly citrusy nose. Surprisingly light-bodied with a discreet malt base and hints of fruit and a little caramel. Subdued bitterness. Very disappointing from this otherwise decent brewery. 180908

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy bronze colour, creamy head. Piney and caramelly. Medium sweet with medium body. Grainy and spritzy with long lightly resiny bitterness. Quite drinkable and relaxed.

[EBF @ Copenhagen, September 2008] Large creamy beige head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Somewhat clear golden color. Aroma of chewy floral hoppy notes combined with a solid base of toasted malt and caramel. Mild fruity and peach. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Moderated bitter flavor with good counter sweetness. Dry floral bitter finish.

Enjoyed on tap at Buckeye Brew Engine. C-hop aroma. Yellow with a thick white head and thick lace. Astringent bitterness but drinkable. 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.
