2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Gravity - Near still, unfiltered. SOme carbonatin would have been nice, looked almost like apricot juice. Pleasant, the hops although distinctive and flavorful did not come through as strong as I would have liked in an IPA. I think it was muted by the lack of carbonation. Still, smooth and fruity.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Um, this is better than the older version. Copper color with a frothy head. Hops flavor is much more apparent than in the last version I tasted which makes this a better beer in my book.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Clear light copper pour with a white head. Very nice hop aroma with an outstanding dry hop flavor to match. I liked the old version, but this is a big time improvement.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from BevMo. Light to medium amber in color. Aroma is quite hoppy. A strong skunky pine scent. Flavor is somewhat pungent and piney up front. Decent amount of maltiness. Pretty tasty.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours deep amber color with foamy white head. Very hoppy and some citrus/pine flavor (which is mostly overpowered by the hop bite). Strong mouthfeel. Definitely what I would expect from a decent IPA. Price was reasonable for a good beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2009 355 ml bottle. Clear, golden orange body with a dense off-white head. Nice hoppy citric aroma. Flavor is malt, caramel and fruity bitter. I mixed my first rating of this with the old version, but then realized I had almost the same comments and nearly identical score.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 9, 2008 Bottle. Much more bitterness than the old version. Orange color. Aroma of floral and citrusy hops and sweet maltiness. The taste is mostly hoppy and bitter, notes of citrus, pine and tropical fruit, some malt sweetness in the background. Maybe a bit one-dimensional. Dry and bitter finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. Clear, shiny copper with a 2-finger head that settles into a lasting ring, leaving nice lace. Sweet orange and earthy resin aroma. Flavor is grapefruit, resin, and molasses. The hops are just a little rough in this one. Good, but I liked the old version better. Light-medium body is dry and a bit too frothy with carbonation.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear light amber, smooth off white decent size head. Aroma of chalky lemons and soft fruit. Aggressive, sharp citrus hop bite all over the palate. Very dry quality to the bitterness. Not a big fan of the columbus/warrior mix- on the harsh side, too much bitterness for the amount of flavor. Not bad, but not one I’d go out of my way for.
