This IPA was surprisingly mild for someone who doesn’t enjoy the overwhelming taste of hops from most IPA’s. It had a lot of flavor but was still pretty smooth.

Bottle. Pours rusty orange with an off white head. Smells piney, citric, and lightly floral. Tastes cirtrusy up front, with a hard bitter hit, then some piney, grassy hop intense-ness. Malts are kinda bready, but light. Lots of flavor. Pretty smooth. Pretty good IPA.

Bottle. Pours a clear, golden body and a small, off-white head. Lovely resiny and citrusy nose with the balance job done by malty sweetness and some tiny notes of caramel. The flavor is a more or less balanced experience but the hops are a tad more evident. There’s sufficient malty sweetness with some caramel and beef-stock. Piney and citrusy hops rounds it of, with a fine bitterness. Full-bodied. Not a very complex beer, but a really pleasant one. Too strong and maybe too sweet to be a real thirst-quencher, but at the same time I would love to drink it that way. (090211)

This was one hell of a hoppy IPA. The 7.1 ABV definitely shows itself and shows itself early. This is a piney IPA, not my favorite out of the three flavors, but I liked it. Nice and clean, especially for 7.1 piney.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick off white head of good duration with nice lacing, over a clear amber body....nose of pine, with a bit of grapefruit....tastes initially of malts then comes a mid chemial taste becoming sharp piney bitterness with a grapefruity finish, bitterness lingers on....mouthfeel medium. A mid leval IPA in terms of overall presentation.

Bottle. Clear amber pour. Flavor has juniper, citrus with a deep grapefruit aftertaste. Aroma is quite bit better than the actual taste.
