More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.

12 oz bottle. No date. Floral and piney hops. Kinda bitter. Basic, mediocre IPA.

12 oz. bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with an average off white head. The aroma is fruity and floral hops with an emphasis on the grapefruit citrus side. The flavor has a decent amount of caramel malts to balance the grapefruit citrus hops presence. Medium mouthfeel. A decent IPA.

Pours clear and pale, golden. Aroma has some sweet tropical hops, mango and srawberries. Hint of dry resins. Taste has some resins and hop bitterness coming at you right away. Then the sensation subdues slowly and some light bitterness lasts longer. Ticks all boxes for west coast IPA for me. Good, clean and sessionable, although not too special. If I could homebrew something like this, I would be very happy.

Bottle @ home. Pours golden with good head. Pineapple dominated the aroma, flavour was caramel with tropical fruits coming through.

Pours a copper with off white head. Light lacing present. There’s a pine, caramel, and fruit aroma. Medium body that was creamy on the palate. Flavor’s of citrus, pine, caramel, and light fruit notes.

Clean amber color, small white head. Aroma of caramel, fruity hops, pine, herbs, some floral notes. Taste has similar notes - sweet dry with bitter hoppy finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice IPA.

I’ve had better editions of this enjoyable MD brew. The aroma seems a bit lackluster and is also reflected in a downsized flavor. Still plenty bitter. I’ll blame hop crops... This beer is typically big on Columbus, a favorite hop of mine and a very distinct and distinguishable contributor to both flavor and aroma and seems absent.

33cl bottle. BBE 18.09.15 Aroma of Galena hops for some reason. Grassy and kind of like birch bark. Pours clear pale orange with soapy head. Bitter, fruity, grassy and powdery. Rough, dry and medium bodied. Alcohol is extremely well hidden, and drinkability is huge. Brings back USA memories. I can drink this one whole day. Decent IPA with higher ABV that you do not feel at all. Fits autumn-winter.
