Pours amber rusty golden, with a nice head. Aroma is hops and citrus. Taste is full of flavor, hoppy and full of balanced citrus. Beer tastes light but alcohol well hidden Finish is short with lingering flavor. Enjoying it at Charm Burget in Delray with a giant hamburger and fries. Excellent IPA . Quaff Score 8 / 10

There are only a hand full of IPAs I enjoy. This is one of them.

12 ounce. Amber color. Caramel ish taste. Some citrus. Not a hop bomb by any means, but very drinkable. Would prefer more upfront hop aroma.

Bottle pours a medium orange with an intial big foamy head taht dissipates to a nice light covering. Some lacing. Nose is sweeter smells. Up front in the mouth is some grassy, some light citrus and a reasonably nice malt balance. Nothing is overwhelming here, which works pretty well for me. This isn’t a big hop bomp, but a pleasantly nice drinker. Good carbonation and a medium body.

Originally reviewed: 12/10/08. Pours a light off-orange with a nice foamy white head that ratains wonderfully. Good lacing. Smell is very understated. Some citrus, and some malt. Really tamed down. Taste is hoppy but, as others have already stated, lacks the nice citrus complement. Not a bad brew for hop-heads, but there are much better AIPAs out there. I enjoyed it and would have another sometime, but I gotta rate it against its counterparts, and this one falls a tad short.

Bottle. Caramel malt and floral, pine/grapefruit hops aroma. Clear amber with a moderate beige head, decent lacing. Caramel malt and resinous pine flavor. Medium body with a dry finish.

Brown 12Fl Oz bottle, poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip. Best before 1st Dec 2010, drank 27th Jul 2010. The body is a dark amber, dirty orange colour, the head off-white and clingy. The aroma is all bitter hops, as is the first taste. The second and third sips also taste of hop bitterness, as did the rest of them: typical of this (in my opinion) over hopped style. As the beer warmed a little the alcohol reared its head and became a factor in the hop flavours. Scored it for style not personnal taste. Glad I only bought one bottle, I’ll not be getting another, just not my taste, sorry to all you hophead types!
