More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.

Bottle from Hannaford Supermarket Exeter, NH. Aroma is weakly herb, pine, spruce hops. Appearance is beautifully clear copper color with excellent sparkling and 2-finger thick foamy off-white head with minimal lacing. Taste is mix of minimal bitter and sweet. Palate is light bodied, thin, with soft carbonation and minimally bitter finish. Overall, this is a gorgeous looking beer with only slightly above average aroma, taste and palate. Highly drinkable.

First bottle whiff reminds of dough yeast and citrus kind of hop. It mixes the fruity part of oranges and the strong bitterness of hops. Elusive herbal sweets or medicines taste. Wouldn’t drink more than one.

Très belle couleur, nez parfumé... Hyper hyper hyper amère mais aucun parfum derrière. Du coup on termine sur une bonne déception.

Cloudy amber color with tall white head, nice hoppy aromas of orange, citrus and fresh grass from the dry-hopping, short bitter finish

Pours brown-orange with a pronounced head and a strong fresh-hoppy aroma. Moderate carbonation can be even seen and is confirmed upon tasting. There is quite a good body, but it is quickly passed because of the carbonation. The finish is not quite dry, but more fresh.

Tap pour at Boatyard in Annapolis. Clear IPA amber with short white head. Aroma was more hay than citrus, although initial taste is grapefruit. Strong aftertaste of hops (the snake bite?). Not a bad IPA, but drank after a decent wine, so maybe the palate needed more time.

Crystal-clear copper-coloured beer with a nice big white head and gentle bubbling. Smell is metalluc with grapefruit peel, resin. Touch of caramel and some fruit, strawberries, cherries. Nice full taste, watery bitter and quite astringent. Full body, refreshing finish. Subtle fruitiness.

0,33 cl bottle. Colour is between dark yellow and light brown. Bitter from the hops with a grapefruit fruity feeling. I will keep trying but IPA still isn?t my style.

White, rocky, frothy head. Fairly persistent. Amber, fairly clear. Intense and persistent at nose. Citrus, litchees, grapefruit, resin, caramel. Medium carbonation and body. After the first sip the bitter invade the mouth.
