More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.

Når jeg åbner en amerikansk øl forventes der noget specielt...og med De flyvende Hunde får man det. Den smager som som IPA, godt humlet og med en næsten hvid kant om munden efter første mundfuld. Klassisk IPA men.... Ville give 8 da den smager af IPA og so sådan en skal smage, men det vinøse, frugtagtige i den gør at den ender på 9. En helt igennem vellykket IPA!

Appearance: clear gold with thick off white foam. Aroma: elderflower and black currant, fruity and hoppy, very sweet. Palate: very light in texture, medium body, carbonated. Taste: Hops and citrus, bitter aftertaste. Overall: wonderfully fresh, with a whole lot of hop flavour. Recommend!

Originally rated on 7/24/08. Beer no. 4 out of the sampler case. The body was amber with a slight orange tinge, fair amount of carbonation, thin head. Aroma was of piney hops, and little fruity. The beer was smooth going down with a decent bitter aftertaste. Overall an above average brew, thats worth a try.

I love the beer with a lot of hop. I think that this one is not so easy to drink but for me it is find. This beer is orange and copper color. The hop is really intense and you havr this sensation to eat the hop and the plant. There is a side a bit sweet and average carbonation.

Hard hitting, strong IPA with citrus hoppy aroma and bitter aftertaste. Good for one bottle - two and it might be a short night.

Very, very nice aroma... citrus, hops, malt.. balanced. Taste/mouthfeel.. quite bitter, a little sweet... not very complex... almost a grassy taste.

Very unimpressed. Like watered down bitterness in a bottle. Hardly any aroma....hardly anything at all. Very disappointed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not so bitter IPA. too mush caramel hides away the hoppy bitterness. medium body white medium head. Short long aftertaste.
