smells a bit metallic and well... bloody... made me think of a butchers(?) gold body with thin white head, tastes a bit like it smells, its too dry in the finish for me.

Poured from bottle, hazy amber with medium white head. Aroma with notes of caramel, pine, fruit and some citrus. Taste is nicely hoppy and bitter with a well balanced malt body and a long bitter finish. Nice classic IPA!

Bready and floral. Lots of biscuity malt and a slight very subtle citrus taste. It’s really smooth. I think that’s what I always notice about this beer. The balance is so good that it just drinks super easy. One of the better, more traditional IPA’s out there. Plus the Art on the bottle is awesome.

Beerathon (1384) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 8, 2015
Burnt orange color with fluffy white head and lacing. Not your standard IPA, in that the citrusy hops are mostly nonexistent (IMO). The spicy hops are there in full flavor though, along with some lemon, grass, and earthy hops, and a soapiness. Decent enough.

Nice and light colour, slightly orange-tinged. Well hopped and a fairly big ABV. Fruity pine aroma. Mildly dry finish.

Bottled. A slightly hazy, rich gold colour with a small off-white head. Banana, tropical fruit, and honey on the nose - but all slightly restrained. Sweet honey flavours, then a long, dry, bitter finish. Good body with warmth to balance the bitterness. Good, but I was expecting even better...
