More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.

I have been going through this breweries offerings and picked up their ipa to close my weekend ...poured a nice golden copper with a two finger off white head that stuck around for a few with lacing that just stuck to the glass all the way ...a lot of citrus and pine on the nose with a hint of pineapple ...taste is the same with the Columbus hops and dare I say some cascades coming through in the beginning, I also get a nice malt backbone its faint but its there this ipa also seems to coat the mouth with a kinda oily bitterness on the finish which is to be expected with the style although I’ve had some ipa’s with a cleaner finish all in all this is a great ipa may not end up your favorite but worth trying without a doubt, I’ll have this one again kudos to you flying dog ...cheers

Bottle. Bittersweet hops with a sizeable malt presence. Too much breast malt for my tastes but this could be a freshness issue.

bread, citrus, floral, alcohol, light amber, clear, nice head but quickly disappears, nice lacing, dry, medium bitterness, light-medium body, thin feel, average carbonation a nice dry IPA, bitterness is on satisfying level, smells good - a pleasure to drink. alcohol is noticeable but not interrupting. not for everyone, but certainly for me.

Can from AmmersinO, Vienna. Clear, golden to amber body, with big, frothy, white head. Aroma of citrus, passion fruit, strawberry, pine, candy, grass. Taste is pretty bitter, with grapefruit, pine, grass, biscuit. Mouthfeel is medium, slick, with a medium carbonation and it finishes bitter, dry, with lemon zest, grass and herbs. Nice one, quaffable, with a nice fruity smell and a good hop bite in taste.

Bottle. Pours clear burnt orange. Decent citrus and hop nose. Ok bitterness up front but not as much citrus as the nose would indicate. Good malt balance, mouthfeel a little thin for my taste, but I'm partial to dank doubles and huge hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Golden beer with a strong frothy white head. The aroma is well hopped, and the flavour is very well hopped, deeply bitter and dry. Overall a nice very well hopped American IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Clear dark amber with a thick fluffy white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is metallic, piney and a hint of caramel malt. Taste adds a healthy dose of tropical fruit. Rich creamy mouthfeel with moderate carb. Pleasantly surprised.
