4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
It pours a slightly hazy amber with a fairly large white lumpy head that slowly dissipates into a small lightly foamy lacing. The smell was a rich fruity and extremely sweet maltiness. Some caramel was slightly noticed as well. The taste was centered around the normal bitter hops of an American IPA but also had a very good malty backbone. The palate was about a medium with a bitter aftertaste and dry finish. This was fairly sessionable. Overall, this is an extremely well balanced IPA.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Decent IPA. Even better when it’s free. Don’t think I would pay for this - there are better IPAs out there.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. I don’t mind this. Refreshing good percentage IPA. Ok maybe not a stunner but all the flavours you’d expect and a good balanced finish. Very quaffable and easily available.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Amber-copper color, white head, not very big but lasting. Malty, caramel flavor, little citrus and floral. Medium body, subtle bitterness for an IPA, alcohol is detectable somewhere. More on the malty style borders.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours orangey golden with good beige head and very clear. Aroma of light citrus and slightly metallic. Medium carbonation and fairly light mouth feel. Taste is slightly orange and grapefruit with malty bread and cereal. Medium bitterness. Doesn’t taste like 7.1% but doesn’t taste much like an IPA either. Much more malt-forward than hoppy.

On tap at DC Craft Brews - IAD. Clear deep gold under a lingering 1 finger off white head leaving a lot of tight lace. Nose is light toffee and bread with citrus and floral hops along with some pine resin. Flavourful is a bit more subdued than the nose with light sweet support for a medium- bitterness. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Been looking forward to this one, but I think its to old... Not much hop aroma or taste. Very boring and its nothing like the other raters wrote, so its proboably just to old. Alcoholic taste.. I will try to get another one and re-rate it. BB-date is 15.06.15 so its 2 months from today.
