More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.

Bottle, 355ml. Pours golden to orange under a white to off-white head. Floral aromas, hoppy, grass, toasted and hint of citrus. The predominant flavours are deep malty and bitter hops, the somewhat uncommon grapefruit notes coming in too and notes of leather that come in through the finish, which is dry and hoppy. The texture is oily, body is medium to full. No major complaints.

From the bottle poured into spiegelau IPA glass. White head that sticks around forever. Good lacing. Nose is pine and resin some malts too. Taste is extensive bitterness and an unpleasent taste on the side of the tongue. Some citric taste too. Grassy finish long lasting bitterness. Not my Type...

The foam is weak, but pretty stable. At the bottom of the bottle a little sediment. Color drink a little unclear bright, sunny orange. The strongest flavor of mango and vanilla marshmallows, dried apricots, flowering lemon. Round, powerful aroma is quite original, I must say. Taste meets the strong, almost cloying sweetness and a powerful charge of bitter hops. Beer is a dense, alcohol not manifest itself. Hops are everywhere - on the tongue, in the throat, on the exhale. Keeps bitterness is very long.

resin, grass, pine, some tropical fruits. amazing! amber, hazy, white foam, minimal head, good retention. very bitter, harsh. felt the bitterness in my whole mouth. I love strong high ibu beers and i’ve tasted ones with higher ibu levels but this didn’t taste right. medium body, creamy, lively, hop astringency, long finish, long bitter finish. could feel some alcohol warmth, some malt caramel. such a let down after that amazing aroma. needs work on managing harshness levels....

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear copper with a medium yellowish white head and an aroma of sweet hops, citrus, grapefruit, strawberry, some malts, toffee and syrup. The taste is medium sweet, there seems to be some sourness and there’s a nice lasting bitterness in the finish. Nice beer!
