3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Fast Eddie’s pool hall during date night poured into shaker pint. The appearance suffers due to the pour - no head and super cold. The beer itself is a clear copper and there’s some sticky lacing left after each sip. The aroma consists of citrus and floral hops over top of caramel malt. Citrus juice and biscuit sweetness taste up front with floral and citrus peel bitterness in the middle which mixes with caramel malt in the finish. Medium-light body, a touch thick/resinous, a notch below moderate carbonation, semi-dry finish.

Noet mijn ding, beetje vreemde combi tussen wat moutig/zoet en bitter van de hops. Caramel en hop. Helder bier

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear amber, medium white head. Nice and strong American hop nose - grapefruit, peach, pineapple. Cascade, I think? Medium body, wonderfully balanced bittersweet taste, finishes bitter, warming, peachy and overall fantastic.

smells a bit metallic and well... bloody... made me think of a butchers(?) gold body with thin white head, tastes a bit like it smells, its too dry in the finish for me.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle, hazy amber with medium white head. Aroma with notes of caramel, pine, fruit and some citrus. Taste is nicely hoppy and bitter with a well balanced malt body and a long bitter finish. Nice classic IPA!

Bottle from Beers of Europe.
Pours dark orange with single finger off white head. Aroma of biscuit malt and citrus. Taste of initial biscuit malt, orange, citrus tastes, also a big whack of pine in there. Very nice!

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bready and floral. Lots of biscuity malt and a slight very subtle citrus taste. It’s really smooth. I think that’s what I always notice about this beer. The balance is so good that it just drinks super easy. One of the better, more traditional IPA’s out there. Plus the Art on the bottle is awesome.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Burnt orange color with fluffy white head and lacing. Not your standard IPA, in that the citrusy hops are mostly nonexistent (IMO). The spicy hops are there in full flavor though, along with some lemon, grass, and earthy hops, and a soapiness. Decent enough.

Nice and light colour, slightly orange-tinged. Well hopped and a fairly big ABV. Fruity pine aroma. Mildly dry finish.
