More cunning than a snake in the bush...Snake Dog India Pale Ale is a Colorado-style IPA, power hopped with specialty hops from the Pacific Northwest. This is the brewery’s hop monster, and the citrus fruit aroma will hypnotize the senses of the most hardcore of craft drinkers. 15 Plato, 60 IBU, Crystal Malt, Warrior and Columbus hops, and dry hopped with Columbus.

A bit hazy deep copper with a white head. Aroma is citrus and sweet malts. Medium bodied. Powerful hop profile with decent bitterness in the back end. Fruity and sweet, too. Decent.

I’ve had better editions of this enjoyable MD brew. The aroma seems a bit lackluster and is also reflected in a downsized flavor. Still plenty bitter. I’ll blame hop crops... This beer is typically big on Columbus, a favorite hop of mine and a very distinct and distinguishable contributor to both flavor and aroma and seems absent.

33cl bottle. BBE 18.09.15 Aroma of Galena hops for some reason. Grassy and kind of like birch bark. Pours clear pale orange with soapy head. Bitter, fruity, grassy and powdery. Rough, dry and medium bodied. Alcohol is extremely well hidden, and drinkability is huge. Brings back USA memories. I can drink this one whole day. Decent IPA with higher ABV that you do not feel at all. Fits autumn-winter.

Pours a dark copper orange, with a white lacing. The aroma is pineapple, resin and alcohol.

12 oz. bottle poured into pint glass. Great big hop aroma with a golden orange pour. No head really, but didn’t mind after tasting. Excites the palate a little and has a great hop flavor. A good IPA, would suggest.

From tap at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Clear golden-amber color with white head. Malty and light hoppy aroma, light citrusy fruity and pine. Sweet and bitter taste, fruity and malt caramel. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. I liked this beer much more the previous times I had it.

Hazy amber. Hoppy beer. A lot of sweetness and bitterness. Many fruits, some dark chocolate.

It is what it is: a pure and true IPA. Very hoppy and free from experiments. A little alcohol burn reaches the back of your throat, the bitterness lays a curtain on your tongue that lasts. A nice sparkle lets the hop flavors swirl in your mouth - but the same critics as for the aroma - the hops don’ty taste as fresh as they should. A bit of wet hopping would help. A very pure and unexited IPA. Nothing moire - and nothing less!

Very biting taste in the IPA. Pretty typical smell, taste, and color from the style. Overall nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
