Tap at Jack Rose thanks to Naheem. Cloudy orange to red pour with small white foam. Nose is sour Shorts style PB&J with odd acid and grape jam. Taste has an odd mix of acids. Small butyric, light lactic, light citric. Overall yogurty lactic. I'm enjoying this. Mild metallic flavors clean up. Decently successful for the Berliner Weisse category. Nose needs help. Served in a weizen glass. Okay.. Refreshing at the very least. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ fireworks - pours a muddy burnt sienna, with a thin white head. Aroma is cherry, though not very strong. Palate is sour tart. Palate is dry and sparkling. Not much finish, basically disappears. Meh.

Draft at fire works. Pours some kind of off brown with a light white head. Has kind of a artificial cherry note on the nose. A fair amount of tartness on the tongue but you have to really search for the cherry flavor. The taste fades quickly. After having thie Selins Grove Kriek last night this one’s not even close.

Tap at Alewife, Baltimore - this is a Berliner Weisse with cherries, so it should probably be listed as a Berliner - when taken as a fruit Berliner, this scores fairly high marks for me - the approach is all Berliner - moderate lactic tanginess - refreshing, light body - the cherry comes on strong through the middle first the earthy, mildly bitter notes of the peels and pits - then, the moderate sweetness of the meat of the fruit - lactic tartness returns in the finish, which is light and quenching - a solid fruit Berliner.

Draft in a pint glass. Pours hazy tan with a finger of khaki head. Aroma is cherry and some cabernet notes. Taste is sour up front with a little cherry sweetness on the finish. This is decent but a very mild sour.

Draft. Pink grapefruit color, no head, lots of carbonation. Definitely a sour cherry and well done. Unique style that is best in ltd qty .

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2012 Sampled on the brewery tour. Hazy pink color, nice lacing. Aroma was sour and cherries. Pretty light tasting overall, fruity and very drinkable.

Tasted this twice at the brewery. First time was earlier in May, second time was this past weekend. I wasn’t overly impressed with this beer the first time I tried it, but I really enjoyed it the second time. I thought the sourness was more pronounced the second time a I tried it. Perhaps it was because I had a full pour and it was hot outside. Taste was slightly sour and lactic. The cherry really came through. This is a really nice session beer for a warm spring day.
