COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s a filthy habit indeed, our dear Ralph, filled with scamps, tramps, and sick and twisted souls. But we love you for it. Our Dark Belgian Strong has bright fruity esters of pears and strawberries blending with caramel malt character and brown fruit notes of dried tart cherries and plums. ST. EADman is complex and sweet with a dry finish, just like the man it honors.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2013 Bomber poured into Trappist glass. Cloudy orangy-brown color with a finger of creamy tan head. Aroma is fruity (dried fruits, raisins, grape, plums, berries) and caramel. Taste is bready malt, yeasty with all the aroma flavors mixing together nicely. Medium palate, clean finish, somewhat sticky. Good stuff, keep at it FD.

Deep amber brown that glows in the light. Malty sweetness comes through in the aroma. Yeasty but sweet melds as it fades.

Bomber. Very good- smooth especially for the high alcohol. Moderate aromas and taste, with complex flavors.

Murky mahogany, loose dissipating white head. Bright spicy, kola nut and soft redcurrant. Tinselly toffee, oily skinned with a decent tangy carbonation. Even keeled sweetness, driven lemon peel and gritty bitterness. Mooshed sweet finish. Decent and has stood up over a year in bottle. Cheers LONick.

750ml corked and caged bottle shared at the Watford tasting. It pours a hazy brown colour with a large beige head. Aroma is chalky and dusty, odd chocolate, yeast, slight smokiness. Flavor is yeasty, hint of sourness on the end, slight chocolate, dark fruit skins, wet toast. Full body with lively carbonation. Ok beer

Bottle at the December Watford Tasting, thanks to Matteo. It pours darkest mahogany brown with a beige head. The nose is toast, caramel, cola, light spice and dark fruits. The taste is cola, toast, earth, spice, booze, dark fruit, dried berry, spice, caramel and a touch of liquorice with a dry finish. Medium+ body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Well-balanced and pretty tasty. Decent.

Boutip (4494) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 5, 2013
Bottle: Poured a clear dark brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with light retention and no lacing. Aroma of dry fruits with some caramelized malt notes and loads of residual sugars. Taste is also dominated by dark fruit with some plums notes with light unrefined caramelized malt with load of residual sugar. Body is not as full as I would have expected with medium-to-low carbonation and some warming alcohol noticeable. Too unbalanced for my taste with too much residuals sugars and almost no attenuation.

Tap at Dexters. Amber-brown body, soapy beige head. Some silky candi sugar tones, pretty close to a Dubbel. Sweet brown sugar, fruity strawberry plum undertones. A touch dry and chalky, but that is probably more a Dexters issue. Gets more enjoyable as it sits and approaches room temp. Smooth and creamy after awhile. Well done.
