Full Disclosure: This beer came to fruition because we saw a gap in our portfolio and we wanted to increase our market share. Sometimes the truth hurts. But most often, it’s damn refreshing. The Truth Imperial IPA--the latest addition to our year-round portfolio-is a hop bomb of some of the most distinct Pacific Northwest hops available today. Its sharp hop bitterness begins with huge pine notes on the nose, which evolve into bright citrus (think grapefruit) and subtle stone fruit flavors.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2013 12oz bottle. Nice aroma of mang, maybe peach. Beautiful, dense lacing. But the taste is lackluster: A mixture of thin grapefruit and thin mango which gives way to a chalky finish, that sticks in the mouth for a dusty long while. Pretty sub-average DIPA.

Pine and grapefruit nose. Clear amber, medium yellow head. Papaya, rosehip, and grapefruit, good intensity. Very slightly vegetal in the finish. Medium body, easy carbonation, quite bitter.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear, medium white head and some spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus fruit, malts and some hops. Taste is bitter and hoppy, some sweetness from malts and some alcohol. Very solid, quite tasty. Highly enjoyable and certainly recommended.

Pours a brilliant yellow sort of copper color with a medium sized foamy head. Nose is brown sugar, and lots of orange citrus, some dryer sheets, burnt bread, and pine. Good bitter and super floral.

Full head on a dark gold pour. There is a good dose of lemony, herbal hops in the aroma, plus a bit of honey. The taste is packed with leafy hops, then shifts to a full, spicy finish. Very good! FD continues to impress.

12oz bottle from JohnGonk! Thanks bro! Pours a clear golden orange color with a finger of frothy white head. Aroma of lemon, orange, grapefruit, caramel malt, and hints of grass and alcohol. Taste mimics the nose. Pretty solid.
