cab (861), Denmark Nov 1, 2008 Bottle.355ml. Very nice Pale Ale. caramel, floral, grass, pale, golden, clear, a minimal head, light body, oily feel, average carbonation. slf245 (50), USA Oct 27, 2008 Fresh and clean taste, can definitely tell it is a golden ale. BUT... kind of blah. I might only buy it if there was nothing else at the store. Good, but otherwise ho hum. charlotte (1997), Vanløse, Denmark Oct 27, 2008 Golden colour with medium white head.Aroma of hops and malt, feels peppery and light bitter with medium fresh finish. Butters (1622), Virginia, USA Oct 26, 2008 Pours a near clear pale yellow with big fluffly white head that dissipates rapidly to a soapy thin covering. Aroma of grass and corn. Flavors of butter and hop bitterness in the finish. Not surprised this is the lowest rated... iride15 (169), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 17, 2008 12 oz bottle. Decent ale but a bit too grassy. Finishes with a good hop bite. Dango (26), Snekkersten, Denmark Oct 16, 2008 Flowery citrus notes in nose and on tongue. Nice refreshing ale with a lot of character.
fidelis83 (707), Clinton, Iowa, USA Oct 12, 2008 Pours pale golde with a thin white head that fades to nothing almos intstantly. Aroma is weak but has prevailant straw, grassy hops, and a grainy/tankgy malt. Flavor is light and sweet, straw, grassy hops, pretty nice and crisp malts. Finish is light straw malts and bitter hops, crisp and sweet. Not at all a big beer but it would go great as a cooler filler at a big summer bbq for general appeal. harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 11, 2008 Bottle at EBF 08. Pale gold, bit of hay dust. That’s not bad. Some of these golden beers aren’t great, bit grassy, but this is ok. Decent hop on finish. It’s ok.
