Bottle at EBF 08. Pale gold, bit of hay dust. That’s not bad. Some of these golden beers aren’t great, bit grassy, but this is ok. Decent hop on finish. It’s ok.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with malty sweetness. Some astringent fruit apple and spices. A bit metallic with a mild hoppiness. not for me.

Shady pale golden color, small white head. Sweet malty and apple scent. Sweet, spicy, a bit fruity, malty taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Short griny aftertaste. Quite non-interesting for me. I expected more.

Bottle (35 cl) at Haket, Göteborg, Sweden, shared with gnoff. Clear golden, small white head. Fruity aroma with some butterscotch, skightly synthetic. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry and a bit metallic. A Kölsch???

EBF2008. It’s yellow-golden and the head is creamy. The aroma is light with notes of malt and fruit. The flavour has sweetness and light notes of fruit, citrus and malt. It’s mild and the notes are rather weak.

Poured clear and golden. The nose was apple malts, and a touch of grass. The flavor had just a bit more hops than I expected. It wasn’t terribly complex, but for the style, I was very satisfied with the balance between the malts and hops. Mouthfeel was smooth and clean, leaving a tiny bite in the back of my mouth. All around, I was very pleased with this Kolsch. Nothing crazy, nothing shocking, but very tasty and very drinkable!
