ketchepillar (475), Viña del Mar, Chile Mar 22, 2008 This beer is pretty much exactly what I guessed it would be. Boring and decently made. The malts in it are not dusty, old, and dirty tastes which is all to common in light average ales such as this, so that’s a plus. Little bit o’ hops, nada mucha. Slightly metallic taste, not horrible though. Finish is clean and the carbonation is in check. Fills its niche pretty well overall. bsierra (213), Vista, California, USA Mar 20, 2008 a really good Kolsch style is sometimes hard to find, this one is kinda in the middle, good feeling malts but the German hops sorta threw it out of whack for me, still a pretty decent lawnmower ale~ ObsceneOne (32), Tampa, Florida, USA Mar 19, 2008 Stylistically right on. Hops with a lager like flavor and golden color. It is a good but not great version and a perfect session beer. uhre (339), Denmark Mar 19, 2008 It looks like piss - the taste is very boring like a pilsner - it’s a bit sour and perhaps there is a bit of hops hidden in the taste. blipp (1631), Newark, New Jersey, USA Mar 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Malt aroma with a touch of caramel and some hops as well. Medium/thin body. Flavor is light and malty, a little sweet, and a little grassy. It’s drinkable. bma4573 (136), Mechanicsville, Maryland, USA Mar 10, 2008 Light Golden color ,with a nice foamy head. Nothing spectacular not really impressed for my first Flying Dog. HarmonKill-a-Brew (316), Wilmar, Arkansas, USA Feb 25, 2008 Light golden color. Faint hop notes in the flavor. One of the less flavorful beers I have tried from Flying Dog. Not bad, but unremarkable. Beershine (2678), Hue, Vietnam Feb 25, 2008 Sample @ Hallandale beer fest (bottle). Nice bright colored golden hue. Crisp clean kolch grain smells with longish fresh, good, smooth flavors. Quaffable.
