9/22/2007: Flying Dog Tire Bite Golden Ale is golden/slightly orange in color with a diminishing white head. This beer has a bready aroma with a lightly fruity and delicately spicy flavor. It is medium-light in body, but isn’t really that refreshing.

12 fl. oz. bottle (08807FX) at friend’s house during the 3rd Annual Poker Party. Thanks Ryan! Rating #525 for this beer...

bottle pours golden with small head. The aroma is malty with a hint of sweetness. The beer tastes bland and finishes with a bit of sweetness. Boring.

Had this beer on 3/1/1999. Color is a bright gold with a high carbonation and good head. Aroma is light and sweet. Taste sucks. It starts with a very light body that goes down sweet with a sharp feel. Finish is a bittersweet malt flavor backed with a hop bitterness. I don’t like it and it isn’t fun to drink.

i don’t understand all the hate on this beer. very drinkable, tons of worse beers out there. drank straight from the bottle, may rewrite tomorrow but screw it. first taste is fruity, labeled as slightly more hoppy than malty but i’d say the malt overpowers the hops. Sweet, reminds me of a more subtle magic hat #9. Extreamly pale and refreshing, nothing bad about this beer that i can see minus the fairly one dimensional taste. had much worse that has scored much higher, plus the artwork is great.

I wasn’t looking forward to drinking this. I got a sampler back and this was the last one left. Pours with deep golden color and thin head. Pretty much looks like how it is described. Suprisingly, I actually enjoyed it. Pretty plain with out definate malt or hop flavor, but easy to throw back and easy to drink. I would get it again.

A unremarkable brew of American lager, not really anything else. Clear, clear and more clear.

Poured from a bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a thin white head. Smelled like a BMC beer, and frankly, tasted like one too. Poor showing from Flying Dog, man am I disappointed.

350 ml bottle from Bevmo. Clear piss yellow with almost no head. Faint bready aroma. Faint bready taste with a slightly sweet finish.
