obguthr (987), Poquoson, Virginia, USA May 12, 2007 No aroma. Golden color, no head. Floral flavor, with light hops, good balance. Subtle hop finish. Not a great beer, but easily drinakable. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA May 11, 2007 Bottle. Small white fizzy head that dissapated fully very quickly. Clear golden body. Aroma has that german skunkiness, also noted some light hops. Body was light. Texture was watery. The best redeaming quality of this beer is that it could be used effectively as a thirst quencher. Beerio (48), USA May 10, 2007 This sorta’ fuckin blows. On one hand it has some hoppiness on the palate, however it smells like a shitty american Macro Lager, and it has a "corporate" aftertaste. Basically a classy Budweiser...which is not saying much, cause Budweiser fuckin sucks my dog’s cock. I suggest trying Victory’s Prima Pilsner cause it definitely jerks off all over this shit. emerica56 (575), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA May 6, 2007 This beer had a nice goloden color to it but still had good head retension. There was a nice smell of hopps and sime mild frutis mainly apricots. As you drink it you would pick up strong hops with hints of fruit flavors. It did have a nice sweet after taste though. blizzardlover (43), Minnesota, USA May 5, 2007 Poured like a traditional american ale; golden, white head, nice carbonation. Malty aroma, creamy texture, hops not over done. Not much after taste. Pleasant beer. Not your regular Flying Dog beer. jujubeast6000 (772), Houston, Texas, USA May 3, 2007 (12oz bottle): Pours a golden clear color, very fizzy. Big white foamy head, somewhat lasting. Malty hoppy aroma, somewhat balanced, but still on the malt side. Mild taste, not much flavor. Weak flavor, watery taste. Not much too it, kinda like a weak newcastle or so.
BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA Apr 27, 2007 12oz brown bottle from Florian’s. Crystal-clear yellow-amber body with a half inch of quickly-dissipating head. Smell hints at hops and dms. Tastes like hints of lemon, diacetyl, yeast, and malt. Light bodied. Relatively drinkable, though I’m not that impressed with the flavor. Not that impressed with this one. Seems like a half step above a macro lager to me. Sorry. Boliv (189), New York, USA Apr 26, 2007 Bottle. Poured straw-colored, medium white head. Piney aroma, some citrus. Somewhat metallic flavor, which was disappointing. Certainly not up to par with Flying Dog beers.
