PhatB420 (126), Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA Apr 11, 2009 Who really likes golden ales anyways? who would buy a six pack of these, from anyone? the only reason im drinking this is becasue it was in the mix pack. all golden ales taste the same. that regular blandish type taste thats nothing special. not bad but definately not great. KnN (715), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA Apr 10, 2009 5% ABV for a glorified lawn mower beer? Meh. Not even much to offer in the way of flavor. Although for some reason it was much better in the bottle then it was when I had it on tap at the brewery. AndyReynolds (280), Wilder, Kentucky, USA Apr 10, 2009 This beer really let me down. It is really an upgraded Bud. I don’t even want to add anything else. rabba9 (61), Chaska, Minnesota, USA Apr 9, 2009 Smell is of sweet corn and was off balanced, not good at all. Color is light yellow with a thin white head. Taste is way too sweet with pale malts . The ale is highly carbonated, neither clean nor smooth. Tire Bite didn’t have any real flavor to appreciate. Would not recommend. TrefwoordPunk (549), Leiden, Netherlands Apr 9, 2009 Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a copperish golden with a fastfading white head and an aroma of hops, citrus and wheat. The flavour has notes of citrus, hops, light malts, yeast and toffee. cheap, but not that good aaronhaywood (74), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Apr 8, 2009 I’d have to give this another shot, but I did not like this at all. Had a funny finish. l1br4r14n (274), Washington, Washington DC, USA Apr 8, 2009 Perhaps I don’t have the palate for this type of beer, but I thought it was awful. Reminded me of when I first tasted beer in high school - we were drinking Bud Light. milljam (562), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Apr 5, 2009 A light, refreshing beer for a hot day. Light hoppy aroma with some hints of grain, wheat and malt. Flavor is likewise light, with notes of lemon, malt, wheat and yeast. Only downside is that the aroma has some bubblegum-like esters.
