Award-winning example of the German –style Kölsch golden ale. Brewed with prized pale malts and German Hops, Tire Bite is refreshing Golden Ale

Draught. Bad news. The only thing I have to say is I thought I was drinking a Coors Light. ’Nuff said.

Well this is only alright. Don’t get me wrong, I still like this brewery, but this golden ale isn’t for me. Maybe its worse than a standard golden ale? But I might just not like this style i’m not sure. Anyways this tastes a bit rusty/brackish. Very very pale appearance. Mild.

Poured yellow/gold with a thin, bubbly head. Aroma is slightly floral and grassy. Taste is white bread, with a small grassy finish. Very similar to a macro, but without the taste of adjuncts. A good introduction to craft beer for the non-craft beer drinker, but overall not that great.

Not as bad as everyone else is saying but not really a golden ale as it is light and crisp. Just a clean beer.

Decent example of the style. Sweet, grassy aroma and flavor. Mild hops on the finish, but mostly sweet malt and grass. Very light, refreshing. Doesn’t suck... but it’s not amazing.

A: Soft straw yellow body... small white head... little lacing... S: Mostly grassy european hops ... slighly metallic T: Yeah the metal comes through... this easily could be a slighly more flavorable bud light M: Light body.. moderate carbonation.. dry O: The weakest in the litter so to speak for Flying Dog... ill pass this on to my buddies that love bmc crap

bottle - pours blond with white head. Aroma is hops (pilsner and kolsch type). I was under the impression this would be a golden ale and NOT a Kolsch. Is there no standard for appropriately labeling beer in the US? Disappointment aside, this is an OK beer - pretty light and easy to drink. Fairly flat and bitter taste-wise. ...Burp-y. Late malt quality.

Light amber Kölsch from the otherwise great brewery Flying Dog, Pilsner-like flavor with a little watery to taste, but definitely worth drinking
