dlovell2 (112), Columbia, Maryland, USA Oct 25, 2007 Golden color with foamy head. malt aroma with slight hops. Sweet malty taste with slight hops at end. Usually I don’t enjoy golden ale but this one was suprised me.
fidelis83 (70), Clinton, Iowa, USA Oct 12, 2008 Pours pale golde with a thin white head that fades to nothing almos intstantly. Aroma is weak but has prevailant straw, grassy hops, and a grainy/tankgy malt. Flavor is light and sweet, straw, grassy hops, pretty nice and crisp malts. Finish is light straw malts and bitter hops, crisp and sweet. Not at all a big beer but it would go great as a cooler filler at a big summer bbq for general appeal. harrisoni (5382), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 11, 2008 Bottle at EBF 08. Pale gold, bit of hay dust. That’s not bad. Some of these golden beers aren’t great, bit grassy, but this is ok. Decent hop on finish. It’s ok. Magic_dave6 (4012), London, Greater London, England Oct 10, 2008 Bottle from utobeer at home. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, grassy, pale malt. Taste is similar, balanced and tasty. Rciesla (910), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Oct 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden body with malty sweetness. Some astringent fruit apple and spices. A bit metallic with a mild hoppiness. not for me. gnoff (2832), Göteborg, Sweden Oct 9, 2008 (355 ml bottle at Haket, Göteborg) On October 8, 2008 BB 14.06.09 Shady pale golden color, small white head. Sweet malty and apple scent. Sweet, spicy, a bit fruity, malty taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Short griny aftertaste. Quite non-interesting for me. I expected more.
