UnderDog is light and refreshing with crisp hop lager and pairs best with foods like simple salads, provolone and Monterey jack cheeses, seafood and light proteins.

Can (12 oz) bought @ Winooski Beverage Warehouse.

Appearance: Clear pale golden with a small white head and small lacing.

Aroma: Quite floral with light fruitiness, bread and herbal notes.

Taste: Floral / tea forward with light fruits, decent malt backbone and herbal presence.

Palate: Light body. Moderate carbonation. Herbal and a bit spicy finish.

Overall: Good crisp floral lager. Easily drinkable. Maybe a tad too much tea forward in the taste, but it’s still cohesive despite that.

Bottle @ THT January. Pours a clear golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is quite skunky, has loads of tea influences and dried white fruits. Flavor is very grassy and grainy, quite refreshing actually and not all that bad. I was expecting worse.

Bottle at Dean is off to his annual haircut tasting. Clear pale gold pour with white head. Aroma is nice and hoppy, lots of tea, aged hop, not super fresh but not bad, I kind of like this actually. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly grassy, light citrus. Palate is light, light carbonation. Decent

Bottle @ home. Aroma is fruity yeasty esters, some malt, hint of caramel. Some fruity hops. Flavour is malty at first, then light bitter fruity hops. A bit boring.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained white head head, with slight lacing, over a clear, yellow (SRM 3) body......nose is light malts, hints of cereal, no esters, light herbal hops.....taste is light malts, no esters, leading to a moderate hop bitterness, hops slightly ahead.....mouth feel, light of medium body, light acid, moderate carbonation. This meets the insipid style quite nicely with light malts, hops, no esters, reasonable balance, making for a crisp, refreshing, but uninteresting beer. BJCP 7/3/14/4/7
