12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained white head head, with slight lacing, over a clear, yellow (SRM 3) body......nose is light malts, hints of cereal, no esters, light herbal hops.....taste is light malts, no esters, leading to a moderate hop bitterness, hops slightly ahead.....mouth feel, light of medium body, light acid, moderate carbonation. This meets the insipid style quite nicely with light malts, hops, no esters, reasonable balance, making for a crisp, refreshing, but uninteresting beer. BJCP 7/3/14/4/7

Pours golden with a sticky white head. Soft wheat taste up front but without the usual metallic taste that lagers have. A lingering slight hop taste long after swallowing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Can. Corn, cereal. Empty, corn syrup mouthfeel. Carbonated, not hoppy. I dunno... I suspect the can and travel got ahold of this one.

33cl bottle. Pours clear golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet malts and bread with light fruitiness. Light lager taste, light final bitterness without any particular flavor from the hops. Light body, light carbonation. Average.

Bottle. Light clear golden with small white head. Light malts, grassy with nice herbal touch. Hint of citrus. Like a less bitter German lager with a slight fresh citrus tart touch. I wish all cheap lagers were as good as this.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 7/12/2013. Moderate gusher upon opening. Pours lightly hazy deep golden color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, pear, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, slight pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Fairly clean on lager flavors with only some light yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a nice pale lager style. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

"One o those firmly in the "good for the style" category. Crisp and clean with both slight floral hopping, cereal, and malty sweetness. A little toast in the slightly bitter finish."

(Flying Dog UnderDog Atlantic Lager) Bottle 355 ml at home, poured into a glass tankard, ABV 4.7% Pale golden yellow colour on the body, crystal clear, with a small and thin white head on top, okay retention, light lacing left on the glass. Nice hoppy aroma though, fresh grass, some grains. Taste is nothing special or extreme but a hundred times better than the average lager. Hops are present, some cheesy notes, grass. Medium thin body, good carbonation, not too low - not too high. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a note of sharp grass with underlying sweet grains and a hint of biscuit. Flavor has sweet grains and biscuit with a growing grassy backbone.
