Very clear and golden yellow with a white foam. Clean and hoppy aroma. Taste of lager lacks a little hops, slightly bitter aftertaste. Good but not better than a good tjekkist lager. Gentle and well-brewed lager.

Draft from Red Porch at Nationals Park. Pours a clear gold with a small, creamy, long-lasting white head. Aroma of pale malts, straw, bread, grass, and a surprising amount of citrus. The flavor follows suit. Light-bodied, with a malty mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Not bad at the ballpark.

Flaske på Cardinal: what’s the point? Dette gjør tyskerne og tsjekkerne mye bedre. En standard pils med litt ekstra humle. Boring. Etiketten er det beste, Ralph Steadman er en fantastisk og burlesk tegner - se f.eks. boka "Fear and Loathin in Las Vegas".

Countbeer (4327) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - OCT 2, 2012
Bottle: Thanks Andre: Small white head which change into a lacing and then disappears almost completely. The beer has a clear yellow color. Smell’s like a pilsner with a bit more hop and crispy herbs (tea ish herbs, hops, malts and hop flowers). Taste hops, herbs, flowers, malts, bitter, nicely balanced. Aftertaste is hoppy, dry and crisp with a nice bitter touch. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a creamy texture. Nice!

Bottle, bought @ Netto, Sønderborg.
Pale golden with a slight green hue, large frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, has citrusy hops, malty backbone. Some grapefruit as well. Medium carbonation, fine dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour is quite hoppy, some crisp malts, citrus, grapefruit, light resiny. A fine pilsner.

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow color with a white head. Aroma is of citrus and grassy notes, quite soapy, subtle skunk and sweet malt. Flavor follows the nose lots of soap, some kind of skunky notes, citrus and grassy notes with the sweet malt. The body is light with a crisp mouth feel. Overall an ok Lager.

Sigmund (4958) - Tau, NORWAY - OCT 2, 2012
355 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, ABV is 4.7%. Golden colour, low white head, poor retention. Pleasant aroma of fruity (citrussy) hops, also hints of honey and hay. The fairly dry flavour is well hopped throughout, the mouthfeel is as expected for 4.7% lager. Bitter finish. Okay, but not very complex.
