COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vineyard Blonde is a light Belgian Golden Ale with a fruity and floral nose that continues in the flavor profile, melding with hints of white grape, honey, and biscuit malt sweetness. The combination of a Belgian yeast strain for primary fermentation and a champagne yeast strain for secondary fermentation makes the beer finish light, dry, and spritzy. Here are some specifics: 6.4% ABV 25 IBU Specialty malts: Torrified wheat, Aromatic malt Hops: Nelson Sauvin

Keg Cherry Reds Birmingham 11/03/14. A slightly hazy gold coloured beer with a white head. Definite Belgian yeastiness here. Peppery notes. Perfumed hops mixing well with the yeast. Certainly not obviously Nelson Sauvin but still good hops which work well and provide a real balance. A great length. Lovely beer.

Tap at The Pig in DC. Pour is almost clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is biscuit malt, lightly floral, faint white wine, and very distantly bretty. Flavor is lightly malty up front followed by notable white wine components and a faintly earthy finish. Finish is also just a touch bitter. Flavor improves as I drink more.

Straw yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is white wine and wheat. A pleasant drink that is geared to summer and light fare. The grape notes stand out nicely. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at the Rake, 07/02/14. Very lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is light yeast, straw, citrus, lemon rind, bread dough, light spice. Taste comprises yeast esters, lemon zest, straw, caramel, bread dough, tangy citrics. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying grass laced closure. Decent enough Belgian affair.
