From a bottle. Tastes like malt, grain, grapefruit. Smells like cereal, biscuits, oatmeal. Cloudy, pale golden color. Light body and low/medium carbonation.

Bottle. Pours mostly clear gold with thin, creamy white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is biscuit and toast malts, straw, lemongrass, light spice, pears, and light floral hops. Flavor is dry, bready malts, grassy hops, light bitter fruit, and herbs; dry finish. Light body and low carbonation.

Bottle. Pours mostly clear gold with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with spotty lacing. Aroma is spicy and earthy dry wheat with earthy, lemon, and spicy hops and faint fruity eaters. Flavor is malty with medium hops and bitterness, light fruity esters and a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Overall a pretty good beer with the combination of wheat and hops. I enjoy this style and look forward to it, so I may be a little biased to the positive.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thin, fast-dying white head. Aroma of pale malt, icing sugar, wheat, yeast, fresh apples and a bit of noticeable hops. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive yeast and white pepper note at first with a little wheat, some alcohol and a good dose of hops at the tail end. Aftertaste shows a good complex finish with some dry grass and herbal notes, a little alcohol flavour and a good amount of wheat and malts with a nice hop balance. Overall, a fairly good wheat ale - representative of a relatively rarer style, but complete with good complexity and a nice fresh flavour - definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 24-October-2012 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 15-December-2012.

The beer is a very translucent amber color. The pour creates a thin white head and releases a bready aroma with caramel notes. The flavor begins slightly sweet with some grassiness. The crisp grain notes are balanced with citrus hops.

Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of wheat malts and bitter hops. The taste is herbal hops and pale wheat malts. Medium bodied. Fairly simple, but good.

Bottle. Best by date on the side: 01/24/13. A clear amber pour with a smallish off-white head. The crisp aroma features plenty of sweet cereal grains, mild caramel, a light breadiness, some lemon juice, and touches of zesty citrus rinds here and there. Goes down thin to medium-bodied and fairly crisp. Semi-sweet cereal grains start things off taste-wise. A BIG wheaty middle. Some lemon and zesty rinds at the end. Very grassy. Kinda refreshing, but ultimately quite forgettable.

Appearance: Pours a clear yellow gold with visible rising bubbles. A top sits a thin cap of white.

Aroma: Very aromatic. Kolsch like yeast, earthy hops and grainy funk.

Taste: Husky grain, honey, mild Euro hop spice, esters.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied. Creamy active carbonation.

Overall: While this beer is on the mild side, it is full of character and highly drinkable.

12oz bottle, brought back from MD for me by my parents. Spicy, herbal peppery nose. Mostly clear golden color, with lots of fine particles suspended in the body. Thin web of white head, good lace. very nice herbal aroma. Bread, onion, wheat, little black pepper, oregano, sage, thyme. nothing too aggressive. Medium body, lighter crisp carbonation. Good spicy aftertaste. Light bitter, and spice taste. Very nice spice/herb/wheat ale.
