Appearance: Pours a pastel yellow with a sudsy white head that subsides to a 1/4 inch cap of suds.
Aroma: A sturdy level of wheat notes (banana, clove, bread yeast).
Taste: Spicy bitter hops, banana and citrus. Black pepper, crusty. Finishes surprisingly spicy and bitter.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, slightly rough, lively carbonation.
Overall: Elegant. Not too bad. Very balanced, very drinkable. Most likely pairs well with food.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a slightly hazy, deep gold color with a rocky, off white head. The nose has earthy honey notes. Wheat and grain on the tongue. Refreshing but a little unremarkable.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a clear straw yellow with a big white head that fades rather quickly. Aroma is caramel, citrus, hay, and earthy. Taste is lemon rind, grass, orange peel, with a bittersweet finish. Kind of an odd one to me.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pale yellow with an aggressive head. Aroma is sweetness with a touch of fruit. Flavor is fruit and sweetness (not overwhelming) followed but a punch of spiciness from the rye. Didn’t pick up much from the hops, would have liked a little more bitterness. Good beer, but not great.
