3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a very dark reddish/brown with about 1’’ of head which dissipated quickly leaving minimal lacing. The first thing I noticed in the aroma is clove but there is also some pumpkin and cinnamon present. Taste is spices with clove the most dominant and there is a little bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied. Not awful but not what I like in a beer and one is enough.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pumpkin, clove, and molasses nose. Hazy cola color, medium yellow head with little retention. Tobacco and pumpkin flavor. Finishes with green leafy hops. Drinks a little hot. Odd, hoppy pumpkin ale, distinctive.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a dark brown color. Not quite stout-y looking, but darker than a lot of pumpkin ales I’ve encountered. The head is a creamy mocha shade, about one finger high. It’s both soft-looking and well retaining, all while leaving a nice ring of lacing down the side of the glass.
S: The spice levels here are strong; lots of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove here. There’s something vaguely medicinal here that I’m not sure of, though. Otherwise, touches of pumpkin, brown sugar, and caramel round out the decent aroma.
T: For about a second, it’s opens up with a pleasant layer of spices. After that second, problems ensue: the flavors become quite minty to the point of being medicinal. Luckily, the aftertaste is pleasantly roasty. The combination of the minty middle and the alcohol presence sends this one spiraling down into mediocrity - and straight into the realm of crappiness.
M: The smooth body is a welcoming respite...until it dries up on the swallow, exposing some of the harsher flavors. Somewhat boozy, and also slightly overcarbonated.
O: This reminds me that while there are a few rock-solid beers from this brewery (like Raging Bitch), some of their other stuff is painfully mediocre. Like this - actually, no, it kind of sucks. Will not be buying again.

More spice than pumpkin. Very bitter at the finish. Not my favorite. Bitterness if off-putting

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A dark ruby red beer, with an average head. In the nose there is a lot of spices, there is cinnamon, pumpkin, hop, fruit and it is fresh. A medium bodied beer, with a good carbonation. In the taste there is again a strong hint of cinnamon and pumpkin, the hops get pushed away, which is a shame. The aftertaste is contains mostly herbs and gives a dry mouth. An fun spicy beer, but not that good.

3.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Decent pumpkin beer. Aroma was very disappointing. Very weak. Had to put the whole honker in the glass to pick out slight notes of malt and alcohol. Pour was a lot darker than most pumpkin beer. Looked dark brown in the glass, but when held up to the light it was actually an extremely dark and murky ruby. Never saw a beer this shade of red. The beauty of this color brought tears to my eyes. Taste was a lot better than the aroma. Strong cinnamon overpowers the other spices, but they are there. Notes of red hot candy. Not much other flavors coming through. Strong alcohol detected. Decent carbonation.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Keg @ Beer Run. The pour’s deep brown with red highlights. Modest creamy off white head. The nose is burnt brown sugar. Caramelized pumpkin. Ginger and cinnamon. Similar taste. Bug sweet nutty malt presence. Biting cocoa bitterness on the hot finish. Full body, rich. Overall, decent for a high abv pumpkin beer...

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
pours dark brown with a medium creamy tan head. aroma is very muddled and spicy...nutmeg, cinnamon...slightly doughy. flavor is excessively spicy and perfumey with some bitterness and a bit of pumpkin. mouthfeel is light/medium with a dry muddled spice finish. this tastes like a xmas ale gone wrong with pumpkin added. drainpour.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This pumpkin brew pours a very dark ruby red color. Not a whole lot of head accompanies the beer, but it does leave some sticky and cascading lace. The nose features pumpkin, chocolate, caramel, light coffee and a bit of seasonal spices like cinamon and nutmeg. The body is definitely on the fuller side, with a noticable, lively mouthfeel. The flavors don’t contain as much pumpkin as I’d like. There are some hints of caramel, coffee, toasted barley, cinamon, nutmeg, cloves and a touch of alcohol. The beer finishes strong, with notes of pumpkin and heavy on the spices. This is a pretty decent pumpkin beer, but nothing really all that outstanding.

Bottle shared as road soda. Drank from bottle so no comments on appearance. Aroma of massive pumpkin, vegetal, cinnamon. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
