From a bottle, thanks Rick! Pours clear mahogany with tan head no lacing. Lots of pumpkin pie and spice in the aroma palate. Some toffee and hop bitterness with a boozy finish. Nice beer.

Bottle, thanks Russ! Spice dominant aroma with clove, nutmeg and cinnamon as well as a bit of pumpkin. Pours dark brown with one finger of tan head with excellent retention and no lacing. Roasted malt flavor with notes of pumpkin to start. Finishes smooth with the aforementioned spices lingering on the palate. Nice pumpkin beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Murky dark brown with a short tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, roasted pumpkins, pumpkin pie and spices. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, pumpkin pie, pumpkin pie spices, caramel, toasted dark bread and candy notes. Body is medium with a moderate, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more roasted malt, chocolate notes, caramel, pumpkin pie and pumpkin pie spices. Tasty!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Dark brown. Cinnamon, clove, and brown sugar aroma. The taste adds booze, pumpkin, and autumn spices. The body is thin but, the taste is rich with the 9% kicking in on the finish. Overall, a great big pumpkin brew that warms you up with a lot of flavors.

3.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sweet and a little dark. Spices come through but not as much pumpkin. The sweetness works well with the complexity. A little roastiness, maybe chocolate malt. Dark color, maybe a little red or orange. Nice fall warmer. Something about the aroma I don’t like as much.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cinnamon, ginger, cloves in the aroma. Dark, rich malts in the flavor, and a nice, heavy body. The spices come back along with a molasses-like maltiness and strong hop bitterness that lingers. This is a big, sweet beer, but the hops balance it out. Definitely not a light, easy drinker, but a nice sipping beer.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice aroma full of spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, also a bit of pumpkin in the background), sweet, malty in the background. Aroma is very rich and intense. Pours darkbrown with medium sized, very nice looking, creamy head, that slowly disappears leaving a nice ring. Taste is sweet with medium bitterness. Spices are felt even better in taste. Medium body, medium carbonation. Alcohol warming throat nicely. To sum up: if you have a chance - get this one, one of my favourite beers.

Transfer from BA review on 1-15-13-
Served on tap in a snifter
Appearance- Served a deep orange-brown color with a thin cream colored head. The head fades very fast to leave a whole lot of nice lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell-The aroma is on the more roasted and dry side overall. It is heaviest of a roasted malt and light roasted pumpkin smell. The nose has notes of a nutty nature as well as some spices of nutmeg and cinnamon.
Taste – The taste follows the nose of the brew very well. It begins heavy with a roasted malt and roasted pumpkin flavor. There is a light only a light level of sweetness upfront, but as the taste advances some sweeter brown sugar and caramel flavors come to the tongue. Initially in the taste there are some light nutty flavors which dwindle as the sweet flavors come to the tongue. Spices come to the taste more at the end as well. Nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon mix with the sweeter flavors and the roasted malt and pumpkin well to produce a rather balanced pumpkin flavor on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body of the beer was on the slightly thicker side with a carbonation level that is rather average. The creaminess is quite nice for the pumpkin and roasted flavors of the beer while the carbonation suits the spice and sweeter tastes that come to the tongue at the end.
Overall – A rather nice roasty at first and sweeter and balanced pumpkin flavor in this one. A good example of an imperial pumpkin brew and one to try if you have the chance.

Po otwarciu piękny aromat przyprawowy gożdzikowo-cynamonowy. Piwo lekko przyprawowe w smaku, lekko słodkie, goryczka delikatna, goryczka niewielka, generalnie aksamitne. Pomimo mocy 9%, alkoholu nie czuć, podsumowując piwo niezłe, jak w każdym pumpkin ale dynia na granicy autosugestii.

Bottled, no idea where I got it from, cant find a BB date either, served in a shaker. Brown color, medium light brown head. Aroma is quite spicy, cinnamon, clove, black pepper, slight fruity, bit chocolate, some caramel. Quite dry in taste, bit sweet, slight fruity bitterness. Licorice comes forward more in flavor. Its quite spiced up, but just on the edge of balance with a decent amount of caramel and roasted malts to back it up. I quite like it.

(bottle - 12 oz) Copper pour with a thin tan head. Mild but really well done pumpkin pie spice aroma. Not too sweet. Flavor is very similar. Light cinnamon and nutmeg with a nice pumpkin backbone and a slightly bitter finish.
