Nose was strange to say the least, smelled like popcorn and funk.....then gave way to Citrus and Belgian yeast. Not much head to go along with the straw yellow haze. A pretty good Witbier. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 15, 2008 Pour is relativedly clear golden yellow with almost no head...smell is sweet and citric with lots of oranges and some nice clove and coriander....taste is sweet at first with some vanilla and lavender flavors with a gentle herbal spiciness coming in later on...aroma is great, but the beer is mediocre...is this filtered? | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 14, 2008 This Wit had a good blend of spices and wheaty chewiness that I like in Wits. It pours that cloudy golden that so characterizes wits and it was a good beer. amishcaravan (239), Winona, Minnesota, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2008 A very good Wit, I got a discounted six-pack and was afraid they were older than necessary, but surprisingly they seem just fine. Hazy light golden-yellow pour with a thin white head and spotty lacing. Lemon/citrus aroma with some mild spice. Light and airy, drinks with ease. Finish is a touch empty and there is a little bitterness to the aftertaste. Standard Witbier flavor with a good balance of orange, lemon, and banana coupled by coriander and a dash of pepper. Light and wheaty, it’s a very enjoyable flavor. Standard representation and a very refreshing brew, man I sure do enjoy this style a lot. dm9831 (1168), Monee, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 14, 2008 poured pale yellow, small lacey white head...watery looking. nose of airy grassiness. in the flavor, i am not sure what i got, because i kept getting distracted by the peppery spice; no wheat, malt or grain of any kind. mildly bubbly mouth feel. i didn’t find this tasty or refreshing, but it is inoffensive. | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Mar 10, 2008 Yuch. Bad. Heavy taste of wheat without much else besides a metallic taste. I did mix it with some flour, corn starch, baking powder and egg and it made a pretty good beer batter. Go figure! Ibrew2or3 (2848), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2008 12oz bottle pours hazy straw that runs toward gold with bright white head. The aroma is full initially with sugar, sourness, lemons, pears, oxidation, apple wedges and mild yeast. The taste begins tart with lemon and mild vague tartness followed by tart green apple wedges. It then turns mildly watery as well as notes of sugary malts. It ends even and somewhat neutral with a mixture of mild lingering lemon and grainy malts.
