Wheat beer and I are buddies, so I liked it. The color was cloudy and pale yellow, rather large white foam. Smelled predominantly orange, coriander, and some Belgian yeast. Refreshing and with hints of spices and flavors of orange and citrus. Lightweight body, no bitterness.

12 fl oz bottle@Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Mediumsized, near-white head. Slightly hazed, gold colored body. Modest, soft wheaty aroma. Faint coriander and a scent of citrus. Lightly spiced, citrus-fruity flavor. Pale, dry malts in the background. Rather light-bodied. A certain crispness due to the high carbonation level. Dry, relatively short finish with citrus tones and touch of mild spices.

Lightly cloudy yellow hazed pour with white head and lace. Hard wheat aroma. Very dry finish on a large wheat and belgian yeast. Creamy full finish with light carbonation.

Bottle, 12oz, at Bishops Arms Karlstad. It’s a dark yellow, hazy beer with a small, dense, off-white head. Orange peel dominates the aroma, with some spices and pale malts in the background. Orange peel and coriander spicyness in the flavor too, with pale malts and bitterness filling in the blanks. Medium body, effervescent. Oranges and bitterness in the finish. A quenching, well-tasting and one-dimensional beer. 090802

Comes out of the tap a nice clear translucent golden with a fine-bubbled white head. Aroma is wheaty, yeasty and fairly strong with a hint of lemon (though this may have come from the de rigueur lemon slice). Rich, mouth-filling, wheaty flavor is yeasty with a decided undertone of lemon and a whisper of sweetness. Texture is fairly smooth and fizzy. Flying Dog does it again!

A very spicey belgian white. Hints of orange and lemon. Pours smooth and clear. I really enjoyed this Flying Dog beer.
