Pours a hazy gold with a tad of yellow green. Bubbles rise fiercely into a huge white, cottony head that is snap, popping and cracking like a bowl of rice crispies. My first noisy beer! Smells lightly of coriander, faint spice, cedar and lime. Taste is wet, slightly tart from the citrus, then thick with sweet malt. After is alcohol, along with a cheap cotton ball/peroxide dry finish in the back of the throat. Toss some bandaids in there for good measure, and that’s your palate.

Pours a very pale straw, somewhat cloudy with a thick, flat white head that subsides to virtually nothing and leaves no lace on the galss. The aroma is quite thick with luscious wheat and coriander. The taste begins malty and wheaty - mostly sweet - with subtle hints of citrus and coriander. The bitterness of the orange peel begins to grow as the beer makes it way toward the back of the throat. The middle of the flavor tastes bittersweet with an orange zest zing. The beer finishes dry, spicy, and bittersweet from sweet malty wheat and a nice combination of subtle grassy hops and citrus rind. The mouthfeel is medium in body, creamy, and well carbonated w/out being over-carbonated. Overall, a very decent witbier.

Citrusy wheat aroma, with good hints of corriander. Pours a cloudy yellow. Dry but refreshing, a healthy dose of corriander, orange and lemon citrus flavor. This is a pretty good wit.

Bottle from Capone’s. Hazy canary pour with floaties and white head. Aroma of heavy clovey spices, orange zest, hopcitrus, and white pepper. The aroma is great. Tastes is citric, with a lot of orange zest, some hops, spicy clove, and more white pepper. Smooth, complex, and well balanced, this one is an excellent wit, and I’m glad to have a sixer in the DLBF.

12 oz. bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar. Pours a hazy whitish yellow with a fluffy white head that lasts well. Light sourdough wheat aroma, clover, orange zest, coriander and cheerios. Flavor is tart and wheaty, a little lemon and subtle spice, with a little cider and grass. Medium body and prickly/creamy carbonation.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma is a bit herbal, with hints of coriander, nutmeg, allspice, and yeast. Poured a straw color with a medium, off-white head that lasted throughout. Very good lacing. Very cloudy. Very sparkling. Lots of particles. Flavor is a little bitter. Tastes of coriander, nutmeg, lemon, yeast, and orange. Light to medium body. Lively mouthfeel becomes a bit cream, coating the mouth. Lively carbonation. Medium length orange and coriander finish. Overall, almost a Hefe, but too orange for me.

Bottle and served in my Hoegaarden tumbler: Pours a whiteish pale golden hue with a small but lasting head and left very good lace upon the glass. The aroma has notes of lemon and orange zest, coriander, baby grains, husky wheat, and a hint of classic wit yeast. There is some soapy vapours which kept the score down a notch however. The flavor is acidic and mildly tart with a equally light-handed bitterness and spicy finish. The wheat and yeast makes a play throughout the tasting. The mouth feel is spritzy and lively but a note of chalkiness did creep in upon the finish. Overall, a fine effort in the genre and worth another try or two.

bottle. color is lemon yellow and quite cloudy, with a tall, two finger white cap. Lemon and lime scents stand out on top of soft grainy malts. the flavor is sharp and tart with lots sourish citric fruit and spicy coriander kicking in mid-palate. the finish is bready and crusty with a clean wheaty conclusion.

Pours cloudy pale golden with a fully receding foamy off-white head. Aroma of orange peel and coriander with some citric esters and mild wheat. Taste is citric, lightly sweet and yeasty, with a tart finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. Missing that special something, probably unmalted wheat. Drinkable but forgettable.
