A very good Wit, I got a discounted six-pack and was afraid they were older than necessary, but surprisingly they seem just fine. Hazy light golden-yellow pour with a thin white head and spotty lacing. Lemon/citrus aroma with some mild spice. Light and airy, drinks with ease. Finish is a touch empty and there is a little bitterness to the aftertaste. Standard Witbier flavor with a good balance of orange, lemon, and banana coupled by coriander and a dash of pepper. Light and wheaty, it’s a very enjoyable flavor. Standard representation and a very refreshing brew, man I sure do enjoy this style a lot.

Jul 25, 2008 bottle - Pours hazy yellow with a one finger white head. It has a malty aroma with some yeast and citrus notes. The flavor is similar, sweet with yeast and citrus and a hint of spice. It’s light bodied, refreshing, and generally pretty good.

Jul 21, 2008 Cloudy light gold pour with a foamy white head. Sweet malty flavor and aroma with yeast, spice, lemon and grain. Nice on the palate. Good and refreshing, but not a great wit.

Jul 21, 2008 Another from the MD Brewery - Jodi really liked this one, not my style but great for a seasonal Belgian White. Hazy yellow orange with small foam head, light lacing. A light style with a slight spice orange citrus zest. Wheat and yeast tone that was a good refreshing blend.

Jul 19, 2008 Pours hazy light yellow with a small white head. Aroma is lightly malty and lightly hopy (lemons) and heavly yeasty of apples, coriander, cirus. Flavor starts well balanced with a bitter orange peal and corriander flavor which continues to the end, sprizty and refreshing.

Jul 17, 2008 as a wit it is not bad. vegetable out of the bottle that character fades in short order when poured into the glass. zesty in palate somewhat light with decent body due to moderate yeastiness. slightly grainy with wood and yes 17th a good comment regarding the sour yogurt especially in the consistancy. which is pleasantly creamy enough to impress. refrained lemon taste and touch of sweetness makes this a pretty decent cloudy wit indeed.
