Experienced from a 12oz bottle in a shaker glass. The beer pours a relatively cloudy straw-colored yellow, with a low white head. The nose shows notes of yeast; remnants of the remaining yeast, rather than a complex interplay of spices, esters, and light malt. Not especially pleasing. The palate shows less ester, fruit, and spice character than the best example of the style; perhaps even bordering on being somewhat bland. Mouthfeel and carbonation are appropriate to style. The finish is fairly crisp, again, lacking many of the requisite characters generally found in the style. Overall, not entirely unenjoyable, but suffering perhaps from some yeast autolysis and a general lack of aggression.

Appearance of watered down lemonade. Super smooth. Wheaty orange goodness, goes down really easy.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow appearance with a big head that hung around for some time.Quite wheaty and easy to drink. I am not a fan of this style but found this one easy to drink.

BBD 232/14. Pours a pale yellow with a very slight haze. Massive head with excellent lacing and retention. Very nice Belgian nose of coriander, orange and yeast with a slight pepper note. Light medium body with a smooth texture that has some creamy feel to it as well. Slightly above normal carbonation that yields a nice effervescence on the finish. The flavor profile is complex and well balanced. The flavors of the nose are all present, with coriander and orange being most prevalent. The finish is crisp with just a touch of pepper underlying the coriander. While not as flavor intensive as Allagash White, this one is still outstanding.

Poured from 12oz bottle. Nice golden hue with a brilliant white head. Notes of orange peel and banana. Lacking in mouthfeel and flavor for something that looked so promising. --you've been Dubbed.

330ml bottle, pours cloudy orange golden brown, white head. Aroma has wheat and caramel malt, spice, orange peel comes through, belgian yeast aromas. A bit zesty and tangy, carbonation lively. Good but lacking a bit of full aroma.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours straw yellow with a white head. Taste wheat, coriander, orange. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear yellow, no real head. Aromas of dusty lemon, bready yeast, hint of spice. Taste is slightly acidic, more lemon and yeast. Thin texture. OK.

Bottle from Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Cloudy, straw colour. Billowy, white, sticky, head. Bready, yeasty lemon. Hint of spice. Taste is light dry. A hint of pithy bitterness. Palate is soft and a little fresh. Dry finish. Not a lot going off, but very refreshing.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy peachy orange. Nice lacy head. Nose - pungent overripe mango and a slightly fusty yeast note in the background. Taste - peaches with white pepper all wrapped in yoghurt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy and a dry yeasty finish. Overall - not the freshest Wit I’ve had. Quite complex though.

Cloudy lemon-colour with a white head that fades quickly. Very little aroma but perhaps lemon curd. Taste pretty insipid but light sweet and bitter. Average carbonation and creamy texture. Really quite unremarkable if refreshing.
