COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Belgian-style Abbey Dubbel is an exceptionally complex beer with many interwoven flavors. This classic-style Abbey beer features an immense head with a fruity nose and a generous body. Malty in the middle, the beer features a clean, almondy dry finish and a slight alcohol warmth. More like a wine than a beer—it has a lot of the qualities of a fine Burgundy. The beer is bottle-conditioned.

Dark brown with a light tan head. Not a lot on the aroma, bit of brown sugar and fruit. Smooth mouthfeel. Nice depth of flavor with the malt, some dried fruit, brown sugar, toast, biscuit. Good stuff.

Belgian yest aroma with dark fruits and sour notes. Dark brown with light head. Taste is traditional abby style but somewhat flat. Easy to drink for a dark beer. Better than average but not amazing

"A nice little beer for a good price, but not really a standout in the dubbel style. cloudy light brown, nice feel and fruity-malty-yeasty flavor and aroma, but nothing that wows."

Bottle, pours amber with a thin off white head, subtle sweet aroma of malt and spices, taste is malt with hints of caramel, dark fruits, and nuts, has light dry/bitter finish, not bad but could be better

~Rich malty aroma of raisin, prune, caramel, bread, and alcohol. Clovey peppery spice from the yeast. ~ Pours a ruby amberish color with small wispy white head. ~Prune in flavor with raisin and carmel, spice and alcohol. ~medium light bodied with medium low CO2, lingering sweetness. ~ It’s ok. Was expecting more from a dubbel. feels a bit thin and isn’t all that interesting. Still drinkable and enjoyable
