3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
First of fresh 6pk.... Nice translucent burnt sienna hue makes up for rather diminutive head. Some yeasty Belgian nods opening and developing a tad of toffeed complexity. Body thinner than immediate taste suggests, but pretty smooth with definite almondique finish. Not bad for the $.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Well balanced flavors and high drinkability. Not one of the big Belgian classics, but this brew does not have to hide when they show up.

Poured from bottle, medium brown with red highlights. Small head that faded quickly. Nose has fruity esters like fig and cherry as well as a slight yeasty smell. Medium mouthfeel. Flavors are very complex, raisin, and fig with a caramel backbone. Finishes mostly dry.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a copper-chestnut brown with a one finger tan head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of toasted malts, sweet malts, rains, bread pudding, coco, ripe fruits, and some yeast. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium-full body with a semi creamy, mostly sweet, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty nice dubbel that would be a nice dessert beer.
