3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 jgb9348 (3497) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - OCT 11, 2003
Great amber colour with a dense off-white head. Pleasant aroma, nice malt/hop balance, showing english hops and even a mild berry aroma. Medium-bodied; Initial flavour is fairly bland - but some malt, sweetness and hops are noticeable. Aftertaste somewhat spicey and then left mild. Overall, not a bad beer, not great nor true to the style! I got this twelve ounce bottle at Chevy Chase Wine & Liqour in Washington, D.C. and sampled it on 10-October-2003.

One of my favorite Brewery's. This beer has a copper color and has a amber head. Very good. Its malty and hoppy, but well balanced between the both. It is a pleasant beer to drink.

This is an interesting beer. Slightly bitter with a light citrus flavor. Nice and smooth, even slightly thick. Enjoyable, but lacking the knockout punch.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 lstorie3 (17) - Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA - JUN 10, 2003
Small head with little retention. Nice caramel/copper color ale not far from iced tea.Very clear with good level of carbonation. Overall very pretty brew.Slight skunk smell with nothing else really showing, maybe some mild toffee way down deep. not very agressive at all. medium presence on the toungue with somewhat biting carbonation. Makes it presence known but is not the life of the party. Flavor is mildly sweet with some roast coffee flavor. Good hop balance. The malt lingers nicely. Overall, nicd beer but not a show off. Very goood, very clean but nothing special.

Medium amber color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and biscuity with a touch of cinnamon. A medium bodied ESB. Malts are sweet and nutty. Hops are sort of mild for an ESB, there is still some bitterness going on but its kind of subdued. Somewhat sweet. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
