COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This ESB is a classic British extra special bitter made fresh with an American slant. A beautiful copper color with an amber head, classic style features six different malts, including imported Belgian malts, and three hop varieties. The rich malty start features caramel notes that develop into a smooth, pleasurable hop finish.

amber colour with a off-white head. aroma nice malt/hop balance, hops and even a mild berry aroma. Medium-bodied; Initial flavour is fairly bland - but some malt, sweetness and hops are noticeable. Aftertaste somewhat spicey and then left mild. Overall, not a bad beer, not great nor true to the style

Aroma dusty feel , hint of wild mushrooms , cream and honey.5-
Appearance slight haze on amber with medium white top. Fragmental lace.
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied. Grainy with creamy texture , more of mushroom feel. This fish is not flying anywhere other than sink.

Very Slight bitter aftertaste, but on the sweet side. Overall a very good brew. Was not expecting a brew made by a confectioner.

Very light amber color. Malty aroma. No cleansing hops. Not what I would expect from an ESB and not what I wanted.

Bottled. Clear Amber in color with a thick cream head. Aroma is malt and cereal, somewhat caramel and coffee. Nothing noticeably bitter. Flavor is somewhat complex in that several malts are apparent, specifically chocolate. Finish is citric and barely bitter. Bland beer.

Not a bad beer, just a typical Flying Fish product that lacks any biteto it. Drinkable, weak for an amber ale.

Pours Amber with a white head. Head fades quickly. The aroma is not as pleasant as many brews, a bit coppery and metallic. Metallic Malt and Caramel power the flavor. A similar finish to the aroma, I have never sucked on a penny, but this beer is helping me imagine what that might be like. I have downed some ESBs but this one does not compute.

(bottle) Light amber completion. The flavor seems watered down and not sweet or bitter enough for this style. More like a mild amber ale than an ESB. I expected more from Flying Fish.
