COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This ESB is a classic British extra special bitter made fresh with an American slant. A beautiful copper color with an amber head, classic style features six different malts, including imported Belgian malts, and three hop varieties. The rich malty start features caramel notes that develop into a smooth, pleasurable hop finish.

Pours an orange amber with a small amount of head. Nose is extremely mild wood. Very little to it. Flavor is a woody bitter. Fairly prevalent tang on the tongue as well. Not really a complex beer, but certainly isn’t lacking. Feel has an attacking carbonation. Decent liquid feel. Overall it is drinkable, but not one to rush to the store for.

Pours a dark gold/copper color with very little head, only a rimming white film. Nose is very minimal, maybe some caramel with a slight twinge of hops. Decent malt profile, lots of caramel with some notes of chocolate and toffee. What seems to be a forced bitterness at the end, which is muddled with some sweetness. Very fizzy and sorta thin. Not bad, but not a stand out.

bottle. pours an amber color... nothing spectacular about this one.... some caramel notes on the finish, but overall - very boring and disappointing.

12 oz draft-PJ Whelihan’s Haddonfield, NJ- Mid brownish coloring with approximately 1 inch head. Aroma’s were sweet malts as typically described. Had a bit of an over bitter bite for my liking, but was enjoyable. May not go with all foods!

12oz. Pours clear brown with an off-white head. Aroma is mostly sweet malt, body seems a bit thin but there is a fair amount of malt complexity, smallish hops and some mineral notes I’m not too sure about.

A somewhat decent ESB, although I couldn’t find anything reminiscent of other great ESBs out there. Pours amber, with a slightly sweet aroma, and thin veneer of head. Flavor is not bitter, nor is it "extra special." However, it is a nice beer to drink with tacos.

Lots of malt. Slightly alcoholic. Don’t really like the aroma. Clear copper color. Huge pillowy yellow head. Decent, not my style.
