COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This ESB is a classic British extra special bitter made fresh with an American slant. A beautiful copper color with an amber head, classic style features six different malts, including imported Belgian malts, and three hop varieties. The rich malty start features caramel notes that develop into a smooth, pleasurable hop finish.

Bottle; poured a copper color with small to medium white head. Aroma of apples, fruit, toffee and toasted malt. Pretty good palate; medium bodied. For the style, the flavor was above average. Still, not great overall. Flavor of apples and toffee with a slightly grassy hop finish.

Bottle. Clear copper orange with a small head that really tries to last. True ESB aroma that I like; earthy-spiced, peppery dry cereal grain with some sweet creamy marshmallows mixed in. Big spicy malt on front, getting drier and more bitter on the finish. In the transition, many flavors: caramel, apples, grapes, toasted nuts; all sprinkled with tingly pepper and earth spices. Palate is light-medium; smooth on front with the hop tingle on the end.

Rosy malat aroma. Good label. Lightly tart, kinda odd tasting, almost lagery. Mediumsweet, a little aclohol bitterness, alternates between lively carbonation and starchy flavors. good cap, fair label, medium bronze. Finishes with some tangy fruit.

Medium orange pour, soft, off white head - slighlty thin. Aroma at first out of he bottle reminds me of Copenhagen snuff, but mellows to a nice fruity, flowery concoction. Flavor has some decent subtle bitterness with hints of nectarines, mint and some doughy sweetness in the back end. Would make a decent session beer. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy. Thanks to Aurelius for bringing this back from a business trip.

Draught: Aroma was hard to discern because of so many goddamn cigarettes in the bar. Smelled of malts and caramel. Poured amber in color with a medium-sized, creamy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Good lacing. Clear. Very sparkling. Flavor of caramel malts and hops. Medium body. Sticky texture. Average carbonation. Malty finish. Not bitter.

Poured nice golden color with little head and little lacing. Had nice full taste with a sweet citrusy taste with a nice balanced bitter hop finish. I was surprised, this was pretty good.
