COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This ESB is a classic British extra special bitter made fresh with an American slant. A beautiful copper color with an amber head, classic style features six different malts, including imported Belgian malts, and three hop varieties. The rich malty start features caramel notes that develop into a smooth, pleasurable hop finish.

One of my favorite Brewery's. This beer has a copper color and has a amber head. Very good. Its malty and hoppy, but well balanced between the both. It is a pleasant beer to drink.

a very drinkable beer, despite its bitterness. i am beginning to really like this brewery, everything they put out has not only been very drinkable, but very tasteful and pleasant.

(bottled). Reddish copper color and brilliantly clear. Caramelly aroma with the faintest hint of roasted or chocolate malt and a light floral hoppiness. Lots of malt leads the attack on this medium-bodied gem, fruity esters and hop flavors accompany the assertive bitterness that balances the malt perfectly. The finish is smooth and lingers elegantly.

An amber ale that pours with a nice head. This beer looks good in a glass. Some malt on the nose. You can feel some body in. Taste wise it starts out with a nice malt flavor which is quickly balanced by hop bitterness, but it is not overly so. This is a very good beer.

Very good Hop/Malt balance. Nicely caramelized malt flavor. Very fresh hop flavor. Aroma not very strong, but clean. Good head retention. One of the best domestic ESB examples available.

A rather unusually caramel-tasting bitter, but quite good.
