Hazy gold with a small white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, amarillo, citrus fruits, toasted malts, light bubblegum, and some sweeter toffee. Taste of citrus, pine, lemongrass, tangerine, tropical fruits, and prickly carbonation.

very enjoyable. maybe the biggest beer I’ve had from FF, the big hopping goes far to push this belgian wheat into a really quenching beer with citus and tropical fruits, and hop bite. It maintains a relatively low abv so you can drink it happily. good stuff from my local brewery.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml Bottle: Aroma of hops, pollen, light fruit, slight wheat, light tangerine, light pineapple, and a general freshness. Poured yellow/gold in color with a medium-sized white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Lightly hazy. Very sparkling. Okay lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of hops, pollen, hop-citrus, slight wheat, tangerine, slight grass, and a hint of yeast. Light to medium body. Oily, slick texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, hops, hop-citrus, slight wheat, finish. Too much tangerine.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with nice thick white head. Lots of sediment present, some even coates the head like cinnamon. The aroma is citrus hop and tangerine. The flavor is very smooth with notes of apricot.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Situation: recovering my senses after Jerilyn and Rob’s wedding weekend--cheers!
Glassware: Koenig wheat...
Appearance: Hazy golden body supports an equally hazy, bubbly off-white head-handosme...
Aroma: Tremendously aromatic bouquet of alchemized hops, as the bottle proclaims; the clever merge of Northwest and English hops provides a delightfuly softened citrus fruit aroma when wedded with the wheat...
Palate: confident, strong yet smooth body in a wheat ale...the wheat softens the approaching crunch that never hits, like a wave that breaks well before shore...
Taste: genuine citric crispness that holds its alcohol well within its body--the hops are balanced nicely within a wheat pillow case, but flavor is definitely available on the teeth and tongue...
Overall: A birthday gift handpicked by mother-in-law--and what a gift! I applaud Flying Fish for their (somewhat politically maligned) attempt to pay homage to NJ’s distinguishing features...the big bottle affords a big yet respectable taste...if only Jersey traffic were this smooth and enjoyable...

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2009 Location: 750 ml bottle from Down Beach Liquors, 8/13/09
Aroma: Lemony and hoppy, wheat, citrus fruits, pineapple, apricot
Appearance: Hazy cream orange color, white frothy head that dissipates pretty quickly
Flavor: Nice mix of citrus and wheat flavors, with a solid hop profile as well
Palate: Smooth, refreshing, easy to drink, decent mouthfeel
This is a pretty nice beer. I liked it. Tasty, smooth, refreshing, and still has some decent flavor to it. A pretty nice attempt made with this beer, well done.
**Just submitted a Photo for this one as well, as it was missing one.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle Pours a hazy straw color with a good froathy white head. The head seems to last well. The lacing is spotty. Has a good aroma of citrus. I get lemon, pine, and some wheat. Has a decent carbonation. Has a crisp clean flavor. Well hopped. Smooth and easy drinking. The texture is a touch to the dry side. Has a medium body. The finish is good with a nice aftertaste. This is pretty good, could be my favorite wheat beer.

What a great beer! Almost too much hops if that is even possible. I know that might be an oxymoron for some people on here. But an excellent brew nonetheless.

25.4 oz bottle. Hazy yellow brown with a puffy white head. Nose is wheat, tangerines and apricots, as advertised. Crisp and juicy with a smooth banana finish. Taste is wheaty but not pasty. Beautiful citrus hops, not too sweet or bitter, provide a nice balance to the creamy wheat.
