Best rice beer I have ever had. Crisp cool taste. Light carbonation and sutle aftertaste.

A nice beer with a great malty presence, the malts feel a bit weak but the hops has a nice piney flavor, reminds me of Eucalyptus. It's a decent drinker

Light gold with a smallish head. Nice caramel malt against lots of pine and resin. Nice IPA.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Huge tropical fruit nose with a touch of pine. The flavor is inverted: Huge pine with tropical fruit coming through in the end. Vet interesting.
This is the lightest-colored, most drinkable DIPA on the planet.
I loved this beer back when it was originally released (when I was a huge Hop-Head), and I love it just as much now if not more (even though I am FAR from being a Hop-head these days).
I find most American IPA’s to be unbalanced one way or the other, usually on the hoppy side. DIPA’s are even worse. They are typically too sweet and cloying, or too bitter and resinous, with a lingering bitter finish that refuses to end. Not this beer! Great aroma and flavor up front and then about 20 seconds later you are ready for another sip. At 8.2% ABV it is dangerously drinkable, so be careful, especially you newbies.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Ar: Juicy orange and zesty lemon, woody resin and pine, and a hint of pale caramel.
Ap: Straw yellow and clear - small white head with low retention - a thin layer of foam and some suds along the ring.
T: Lemon, lime, and tangerine - some clean and rosy alcohol; a light cracker malt flavor with a very slight bit of caramel - bitterness is medium high - finish is citrus, and some light malt, a bit watery.
P: Medium-light body with high carbonation - finish is dr.
O: Nice big hop aroma and flavor - malt profile really lets the hops shine - finish is a bit flabby, but other than that, really nice.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle. Golden with small head. Very crisp and hoppy flavor. Pretty darn good, though doesn’t compare very well to Kuhnhenn’s DRIPA. I’ve had two rice-based IPAs now, and they’ve both been winners. Why is this not being done by other brewers?

bottle to glass. not big aroma, but it was slight citrus and grain? nice pour. taste was very well balanced - malts caramel hops and citrus pine worked very well slightly drying at end.

Amazing beer, with all sorts of variants of citrusy hops. Honestly shocked how amazing this beer was.
