4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
The very pale golden look, hazy body, and two finger thick, foamy head, made this pour look more like a Saison than a DIPA. The smell was floral hops and some honeydew melons and lemon. The taste was bready like a biscuit dusted with flour, and the hops were low in bitterness, but high in citric character. There was a touch of lemon in the finish, and a bit of tobacco as well. The mouthfeel was very dry and the beer was very quenching. No this is how one uses rice. Budweiser, are you taking notes?

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle courtesy of mikeq215. Thanks. Pours a hazy yellow gold color with a medium white head that has fair retention. The aroma is mild and indistinct with straw and pine. The taste is a bit better with mangos, melons, pine and a somewhat spicy biscuit malt base. The plate is full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finished dry. Overall: Tasty stuff.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle to shaker glass. Pours a clear crisp yellow with a sparse head that dissipates quickly. Great dank, litterbox smell on the nose. Great diverse hop flavors, awesome palate, and great mouthfeel. Excellent beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft from Rams Head. Light copper color tons of white lace on the glass. Wheat, hop, rice, malt and barley smell. Pretty nice flavor of hops, rice, bread. Not that earth, more notes of things grown in the ground. Pale and lightly bitter. Inoffensive but quite good.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2014 Pours orange with a nice white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma Is very fruity with tangerine, mango, and melon, with some pine, and dankness in the background. Taste is about the same as the aroma with the addition of some sweet malts. Has a medium-full body with a creamy mouthfel and pretty dry, semi bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty nice DIPA that is very fruity and dry.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours clear yellow/gold with a medium white head. Aroma is very melony and has light citrus and grass. Flavor follows suit...not all that bitter but very fruity and floral with melon taking center stage...earthy almost perfumey bitterness creeps in. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is dry and fruity/grassy/bitter.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. Pours hazy orange, with short lived white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of citrusy hops and ripe fruit. Body is full, creamy and crisp. Citrusy hops dominate the palate while sweet malt and ripe fruit provide support. Finish is long dry. Quite good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle thanks to jtclockwork. Pours clear gold with frothy white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma: orange creamcicle. Somewhat floral with an underlying ripe fruit sweetness. Taste: moderately sweet, with a bitter finish. Pretty well-balanced, if on the sweet side. Doesn’t showcase any specific hop qualities I can name (except bitterness). If I strain really hard I can pretend to pick up on rice, but not really. Body is medium+ with creamy texture. Overall: a perfectly acceptable sweetish double ipa.
