UPDATED: MAR 1, 2010 bottle-golden pour to a head that was gone before I put the bottle down..nice fuity citrus aroma..taste of the same very acidic,fruits, yeast, little hops and nicely balanced malt flavors..heavy carbanation and dry swallow..good sipper beer for certain occasions but just not my favorite style..

Draft. Pours gold with a small white head. Aroma has some citrus fruit and some overall sweetness. The taste is sweet with some fruity notes and some spice on the finish. alcohol is well hidden. Overall, a decent Tripel.

Appearance: nearly clear, deep gold, with a silky white head slowly shrinking to a thick collar, leaving soapy trails of lace. Aroma: strong notes of grapefruit, with yeasty esters (clove, a little pepper). Taste: sweet, with flavors of honey and spice up front, with a wave of grapefruit, blood orange, and piney bitterness. Finish: smooth, with lingering syrupy sweetness and citrusy bitterness vying for attention in a balanced way. Notes: A lot of reviews of this have said it’s pretty light, but I found it very syrupy and sweet, with also a lot of spice and some strongish hop notes, mainly citrus. This seemed like a BIG tripel, almost like a blond barleywine in some ways. Nonetheless, alcohol was smooth and didn’t burn, just warmed.

It looks like white grape juice. Cloves and citrus in the taste. Smell is the same. Some spiced malt and light bitterness but not much. Light body.

12 oz bottle thanks to Bob & Izzy. Pours a bright yellow with a thick white head and large CO2 column from the center of a snifter. Aroma is a bright citrus and grassy hop with caramel malts and slight banana and clove. Taste is complex but simple in the same light. Slightly bitter and sour with a little salty aftertaste. Palate is creamy with a light body, fizzy and astringent on the finish. Pretty good overall but the strong finish leaves a slightly foul taste.

Tap at the Atlantic City Beer Fest. The aroma is perfumy, flowers. the appearance is hazy yellow, white head. The flavor is sweet, fruit, flowers, pepper. The finish is spicy and peppery. Medium in body, slightly thick. Decent.

I like Belgian style beers and this NJ native does Belgium proud. One of my new favs. Nice aroma and hoppy taste.

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Clear gold beer, short white head. Smooth palate, light and dry. Sweet floral pale malts - lots of very flowery hop. A little citrus. Semi dry finish. Interesting!

Bottle at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012. It pours golden yellow, with a decent white head. The nose is floral, sweet malt, spice and herb. The taste is very fruity - pear, melon, nectarine, tinned peach and floral, with a dry, warming finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Too sweet and hot.

Bottle at Chriso Easter Tasting 2012. Hazy pale gold lasting white head. Way too soapy floral sweet some orange. Its like eating soap. Its terrible. Undrinkable
