3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle poured into glass. From the first whiff I didn’t get much honey in the nose, more nutty presence then anything. But the flavor did have that nice touch of honey to it without making it overly sweet. Subtle but still very enjoyable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Moderate to heavy malt aromas of roasted and bread, light herbs for the hops, moderate dough and a hint of funk for the yeast, with notes of date, died cherry and brown sugar. Head is small, light tan with god lacing and good legs, and is mostly diminishing. Color is murky dark brown with some tiny particles. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes the same. Palate is medium, watery with a soft to lively carbonation. Just about no noticeable bitterness in this beer, which usually turns me off, but the sweetness is well rounded making this one of the best Brown Ales I’ve had.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a dark mahogany brown with nice orange highlights There was a very tall creamy tan head with long retention and a good bit of lacing. There was a good amount of carbonation bubbles rising up in the glass. The aroma was mild, but had a spiciness and a bit of a nutty scent. The initial taste was a nice roasted nut slightly sweet one. Followed by a bit of a dry mettalic one with a hops kick. There was a nice mellow alcohol flavor coming through then it became more mellow with the nutty and light chocolate flavors finishing it off.
