2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
355mL. Clear golden yellow with a medium, white head. Nose is pretty sharp and doughy, fresh lemon, candy, sugar, somewhat buttery. Not really a lot lace. Taste is shaper, still pretty sugary like the rest of Flying Fishís beers, but not really doing it for me. Hydrogen peroxide suddy palate. Sort of mealy apple in taste and palate. Not doing it for me. Headache inducing. No bitterness/hoppiness. No hop aroma. As it warms, the taste gets slightly buttery and very bland. Not good.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Hay and distinct cat urine smell. Cloudy amber, thin head. Hay,and cabbage flavor, with just a touch of cat urine. Astringent and hard to finish. Tragic.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Amber bodied with a short white head. Rather malty and sweet with caramel notes, soft spicy hops, biscuit and soft floral notes. Taste is more malty than hoppy. Big caramel, sweet malt, biscuit, light honey, floral hops and soft spicy hops. Body is medium with a bubbly carbonation. Finishes with more caramel, sweet malt, buttered and honeyed biscuits, light floral hops and dried fruit.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(12oz bottle from Total Wine Desert Ridge). Pours a hazy golden-orange color with thin white head. Carbonation is quite active. Aroma has cardboard (old bottle?), some apricot, and hay. Taste is sweet with malt character as well and a bit of bitterness. The taste is more fruity though. Medium bodied with an oily texture. Smooth, sweet finish. A very easy-to-drink beer. I like it.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Harbor Club in Cape May, NJ. Hazy golden pour, more like a wheat beer than a pale ale. Not much going on with this beer. Very drinkable, but no depth of flavors. Wouldnít be my first choice.

Pours cloudy golden amber with one finger of white head. Vegetal nose with lots of DMS and wet bread. Flavor is herbal and bready. No me gusta.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
I threw together a mixed six pack that included this and a few other Flying Fish beers and am now just seeing the ratings for this beer. Still, I was thinking, íthis canít be too bad, itís probably a decent sessioní. Wrong. Pours a murky gold color with a thin short-lived head. Nothing left on top. Not the most attractive look to say the least. Mild traces of fruity hops and wheat grain in the aroma but thereís not much here. Honey, corn, grain flavors... light fruit but practically zero hop bitterness. Very thin in the body, canít say thereís much malt influence here either leaving this very bland and watery. There arenít any foul flavors, fortunately, but this is simply not a good beer at all. I poured about half of it down the drain.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. I have a feeling someone just dumped these on the distributor or gave away for free. Most of these flying fish beers are absolute ass. Nose of wet cardboard. Flavor is the same, sweet wet cardboard.

I have always been disappointed by this company. I realize that the beers they make are on the mild side. Itís just not the flavors Iím looking for. A mild APA, drinkable, not one that I would drink again.
