COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An original American pale ale, our XPA highlights the subtle, sophisticated flavors and aromas of our Midwestern two-row malt and imported aromatic and Munich malts. Washington-grown Mt. Hood and Fuggles hops create an extremely balanced beer with a beautiful straw color.

The aroma is a bit biscuity with hints of soap, fruit, and funk. The appearance is pale gold with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with both good malts and not so good ones. The hops are there but the bitterness is odd. The palate is thin. I like only the biscuit taste not much else.

Hazy dark golden, thin, tight white head, patchy lace.
Aroma is light and sweet, cereal grains, bready malts, grassy hops.
Flavor is sweet, bready malts, mildly bitter, with a distracting metallic flavor.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a foamy white head. Aroma of grains, citrus hops, brown sugar, malt, yeast. Taste has a bit of a bitter hoppy bite that gets watery, with bready yeast, grass, malt. Lingering watery yeast and hops. Very drinkable.

Underdogs88 (257) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 28, 2014
Wood, fruity hop aroma with notes of bread. Appearance is gold with an average head with below average head retention. Flavor consists of fruity, woody/spicy hop flavor with notes of bread and caramel. The beer is oxidized. Mouthfeel is light and carbonation is medium. Overall, it's a below average pale ale. The beer tastes oxidized and there is still 2 months left till it "expires." Plus it tastes watery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

skmikeg (1203) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - DEC 27, 2014
Pours orange-yellow with a one finger white head with decent lacing. Aroma is of biscuit malts, pine, sweet malts, and some metallic notes. Taste is about the same as the aroma with the addition of some vanilla, herbal hops, and grass. Has a medium-light bod with a semi watery mouthfeel and a slightly bitter, medium-short finish. Overall, a rather mediocre XPA.

Clear yellow appearance with a small white head and light lacing. Subtle biscuit-like aroma with some herbal hops in the background. Flavor of toasted malts with a modest amount of spicy, herbal hops. Medium to light bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel and an average length finish.

A pretty mild-mannered pale ale. Goes down easy, not overly hoppy or piney. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

"another average offering - nothing bad. nothing stands out. a little cereal malt, a little sweet, and a bit of floral and bittering hops, but not very aromatic."

Bottle. Muted nose. Average carbonation. Straw yellow color - not my favorite. All beer flavors are mild and muted. No off-odors or flavors. Pleasant, but definitely not one I’d buy in the future.

Faint caramel malt aroma. Taste is a plain mild hops with a bit if a grass malt taste. Nothing special.

Pours an almost clear golden yellow with a fluffy head. Some peach aroma. Taste has some bitterness with a dry finish. A bit too bitter to be a refreshing summer ale.
